Anyone here have been into this job? especially with Maybank. about 3 months ago, I've got this offer from maybank and I rejected it because it doesn't related to my field of study (accounting). But yesterday, i received yet again another offer from the bank, same position. I'm currently working..but still searching for a better job. That make me sort of reconsidering the offer, and at the same time, I also wondering why they offering this job again? Is it a sign of desperation..because nobody want that job? is the job related to Customer Service is similar like those Sales job...where there's always a lot of vacancies but nobody want the job due to high level of stress

I want your opinion..

My friend just told me he got an offer from United Overseas Bank..I don't know very detail, haven't got a chance to meet up with him. We only chat via msn.
This is what he told me so I want to know your opinions on this, what do you think when you heard:
1. The interview take place at a hotel, not the HQ or office (but many people attend the interviews)
2. The 2nd interview is right after the 1st one,although at first they said they will call for 2nd interview.
3. Only one person interviewing
4. The job is offered 3 days after the interviews although they said in 2 weeks time.
5. Salary is 2.5k++
6. Position is Management Trainee, but he said something about loan approval kind of job.

To be honest, I feel a little uneasy. But I don't know how to tell him because he seems very excited about it :/
I supposed it is an established bank so won't likely to be a scam company right..but still..
anyone have experience with that bank before?

temporary position?

I just got an offer for a temporary position at CIMB..3 months contract. I want to know if there's a high chance for those who work temporarily to get a permanent position once the contract end? anyone here have started with temporary position and keep the job? I've asked the interviewer and he said they might consider giving me the permanent position depending on how well I performed..but I think that's just a standard statement they said to everyone.. How valuable is 3 months experience for my resume, in case I can't get permanent position and need to do job hunting later on? Is it just a waste of time and I should look for permanent position instead? I'm a fresh grad with no experience.
