Becoming A Director

Ok, here's the thing, my company, and international company wants me and my senior to become the director for the branch here.

Of course there's training to do, especially me, but for now they want to use my seniors and my name as the branch director just in name only. When the time comes, after training they will leave this branch to us.

They just registered another branch in Shanghai recently and waiting for approval.

What I want to ask is:

1. What do you think over this offer?
2. Legal and financial implication?
3. Responsibility?

I'm quite shocked actually to receive this, I would say, offer.
