Currently my pci slots are attached with 1 sound card n 1 network card. The system is working fine all this while.
Ytd my network goes dc all of a sudden n the pc freezes. The music is repeating the same word non-stop.
I reset the pc but it cant boot. It hangs on the black screen where it loads the info of ur processor/ hardisk. Finally manage to on the pc but no network connection.

When i remove the network card the system goes fine again. Boot smoothly n all tasks smoothly except no internet.
Tried chainging network cards stil the same.
Change pci slots. (some totally din detect the card/ some will make the pc hangs while booting the pc)

Does it mean that the pci slots are dead n the mobo has to be changed as well?

Sound card distortion (creative audigy value)

Recently i jus bought a sound card like the brand n model mention in title.
But while playing sounds i experience distorted sound occasionally. After i restart the player no matter winamp or wmp then the distorted sound will go off.

To the experience users of sound cards wat problem is this? Faulty sound card?

Wireless connection setup

May i know what wireless connection setup is best for a double storey terrace house?
Izit possible for 1 computer upstairs room n 1 computer downstairs room? Both also desktop.
My sis used b4 but the upstairs computer seem to get very weak signal. finally shifted all computers downstairs.

Here are some more specific questions:-
What i need to add on? I oni got 1 telekom modem now.

Do these wireless products hav diff ratings(diff price) wic enables u to hav stronger or weaker signals?

Wic brand u guys recon the most?

pc freezes whenever watching video

My pc can freeze sometimes when i:

watching video.
opening video clips too fast.
sometimes freeze when it likes to freeze.

alt+crtl+del also no response 1.

Wat hardware failure causes such symptoms?
Or izit my OS crashing?

HDD can't be detected from time to time.

My Maxtor SATA HDD 80GB wic is 1 year plus cant be detected sometimes.
Go Bios c also no hdd detected. Try to do the settings also no effect.
Then i hav to open my cpu n so coincidence 2 times also is after i take out n reconnect the sata cable then can detect.

It happens all of a sudden randomly when i on my pc.

Is this my hdd problem or cable prob?
I also hear some whinning noises sometimes.

Is there any test or ways to know whether the hdd is giving up alr? Coz i have a lot of data inside tat hdd.
