I was wondering,

Is it possible to run your office at residential area (3rd floor on commercial area). I have office and business registered at commercial area, land title also for commercial use, but planning to open another branch but problem is, the land title is residential, but at 3rd floor commercial building.

anyway, im renting. Not the owner.

And the staff & customers also going & visit that branch office for working/appointment..

so, its ok ka?

Anyone has tried to make 2x SFP-10G-SR Multimode modules work with LC-LC multimode (orange) fiberoptic on RB1011/RB2011/RB3011/RB4011?

So far I have solved the Auto-negotiation set to off (from 10GB to 1GB) and link are up for both modules & devices, however still couldnt get ping from both devices.

Device A + SFP-10G-SR : IP 16.16.16.1/24, Network: 16.16.16.0
Device B + SFP-10G-SR : IP 16.16.16.2, Network :16.16.16.1

Have anyone tried to register their boost biz for merchant with valid LHDN BRN? I've unable to register it. Also sent via email, but no responses.

Howdy,

Anyone know how to make IVR Phone system for Analog RJ11 (that use Unifi cord for DECT phone)? Yet, im not using SIP, coz its not like everytime/everyday people are calling to my home/office..

I've searched, found that all of them are VoIP yet we're not using VoIP neither..
Others also can be found in www.pbx.com.my and www.voip.my, but still, its for VoIP..

Any good UPS 2015? like APC or so on

spec for 1000W and above for sure since they're for servers/networking hardwares that run 24/7 highly performances (server apps that use more than 8-16GB of RAMs), 3 multiple displays (for main server hardware only), and ofcourse, more than 10 GigaBits Ethernet PCIs and devices (like 3x CPE210, 1x CPE510, 2x WA7210N, 3x 1008SG, 1xWA901ND)..

I assuming it will cost about 1200-1400kVa, means UPS 1200KV...

so far I know, APC, KOSS and Belkin..

Koss better for minimal performances of hardwares (including room fans if you want to include)
However APC for long term high performances of hardwares, but expensive.. Im not sure how long the battery will died if using these kind of APC.. My last choice was gonna buy BX1400U-MS model APC, but still need your opinion for these kind of h/w specs.

p/s: Im wondering if 900KV APC model is good for 1000W or not.. just asking.. since its the only model currently in stock lol

anyone here can share their experiences about the installations, regulations (licensing) and tower/port-renting here according to the case below:

1) I do have 2 x CPE210/CPE510 (A = receiver & B = transmitter)
2) House without phone line supports - installed with CPE210/CPE510 (A)
3) Non-owner Building with phone line support - plan to installed with CPE210/CPE510 (B)
4) 50 meter Telecommunication Tower by TM - plan to installed with CPE510 (B)
5) 20 meter Monopole Tower by private co. - plan to installed with CPE510 (B)

Case Study 1)

Since my house area doesnt has an internet connections (including the phone line), i'm interested with the non-owner building that distance from my house is about 500m, DO has a the phone line where I can subscribe my Streamyx account over there and transmit my CPE210 "B" from the building to my CPE210 "A" receiver that installed at my house.

Case Study 2)

Since my house area doesnt has an internet connections (including the phone line), i'm interested with the telecommunication tower that distance from my house is about 2.45km, DO has a the phone line support where I can subscribe my Streamyx account over there and transmit my CPE510 "B" from the tower to my CPE510 "A" receiver that installed at my house.

Im planning to put both CPE510s over here, which :

point A :
- the 0m distance
- Height from ground: 12m

point B:
- the 500m distance
- Height from ground : 5m

is it possible due few LOS & Fresnel zone? the trees over there is height of 7-10m (forest surrounding) and the road is about 1m height from ground..

anyone has tested their CPE510 with any AP/same CPE510 yet? i would like to know hows ur CPE510 details such as:

- the distances between Tx and Rx
- hows ur rural/urban area is
- the heights both ur Tx & Rx devices from the ground
- the Kbps/Mbps u had with ur own settings

my objectives are, wanting to link both devices as Tx n Rx in between of rural and urban area at 3km, 5m heights devices from the ground and the 10m or more heights of forest and houses.. i need ue opinion and experiences about it..

[WTB] 3G repeater (single band 2100MHz)

Since we're living in hell area which is almost 90% rural area, I need 3G repeater (single band, 2100MHz), atleast outdoor repeater if possible, with high gain yagi or parabolic type of antenna for Rx, and Tx into the indoor to let the rest in the building get a good coverage.. (sharing is caring)

why high gain? 24dbi+ atleast coz my colleague told me that his friend bought the antenna below than 24dbi & repeater still couldnt get enough 3g Telcos signals.. (even hes using a short cable as well around 1.5m).. anyone sell it at Melaka or Sarawak? or else, prefered POSTAGE..

Debian/Ubuntu 64bit under Intel 775

I want to make sure either my Debian amd64 (http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/4.0_r4a/amd64/iso-dvd/) (64bit) or/and Ubuntu amd64 (http://releases.ubuntu.com/8.04/ubuntu-8.04.1-server-amd64.iso) (64bit) able to run under Intel 386 or not bcoz I want to buy new mobo either AMD or Intel and still think of it, plus I want to make it 8GB of RAM.. So far, only 64bit can supported mroe than 4GB-16GB, thats why I want to use 64Bit OS. Below is my hardware specs:

Preferred OS: Debian/Ubuntu 64bit (supported or not?)
Tested OS: Vista 32Bit (Works), Vista 64Bit (works)
Mobo: GA-EP35-DS3P Intel 775
Processor: Core 2 Duo 6600 Intel Processor

I have GA-965P-DQ6 gigabyte mobo.. So far i have 6GB of DDRII 800MHz.. But others ppl said GA-965P-DQ6 can support 1066MHz up to 4GB of DDRII each but im not sure its true or not...

Ive planning to add atleast 16GB of RAM but not sure GA-965P-DQ6 is supports or not.. if its not supports, can anyone give me ur suggestion about this?

I really need help.. I bought 4 x 2GB DDRII 800Mhz Kingston and installed all of em in my GigaByte 6-Quad GA-965P-DQ6 MOBO with Core2Duo Intel Pentium.

After I installed it properly, my BIOS said its 8.25GB of RAM (including MOBO) but when im in my Windows, its said 3.5GB of RAM... How to overclock it to 8GB of RAM from 3.5GB, bcuz I need to run my server that cost a lots of RAM in a same machine!! So, im really confuse now since 3 days ago.

Please guide me. Thanks..

Is VMware or Virtual PC or any Virtual OS software can cause hdd faulty? Im just wondering, i always installing os likes windows xp, fedora, nix, bsd, etc. on my vmware/vpc for hosting some servers and sharing files on my own LAN/MAN.
