Item(s) conditions: The wood cups have one small dot(chip) on each side which you could probably fix if you were handy. There are some minor blemishes/scratches throughout the headphone housing and its expected due to the age of the headphone but other than that, I think that this headphone is among the better examples available out there. But they are NOT perfect; please keep that in mind. Earpads are in great condition as can be seen from the pics. Function wise, no issues whatsoever; this is one freaking sweeeet headphone. Its soo yummy you just wanna eat it.... just look at the red colour in the pics.... Very well taken cared of and babied, I almost never used it; it was just sitting in my collection because I have another W10vtg which gets all the usage. This one just sat pretty within my collection.

Item(s) conditions: Condition is fairly good with some minimal usage as can be seen from pics. They are not perfect though, so don't expect it to be flawless, however they are used very lovingly and sparingly. Earpads and headpads and in good condition with plenty of life left in them as can be seen from the pics.

This AD2000 was kept as a backup pair and part of my big collection, so it was seldom used (yes, I have another AD2000 for normal use, lol). These were stored in a dust free and humidity controlled box when not in use, really took good care and hardly used them, but its time for a new owner due to my current space constraints. Works 100% flawlessly without any issues whatsoever.

Item(s) conditions: As can be seen from the pictures, the cups have some scuffs/scratches here and there. They were like that when I bought them a long time ago. I have cleaned it, polished it and waxed it as much as I can and then babied them very well as you can see from the really popping lush red colour. They are not perfect though, so don't expect it to be flawless. I've tried to expose the scratches by taking the pics in direct sunlight and from multiple angles. Please refer to the pics attached below.

The earpads are quite flat already and I think its definitely time to change them. I could get a pair of earpads from Japan for you, but I think that's gonna cost another --- or so for a pair of earpads. I'm gonna buy a pair of pads for my W10vtg and W11jpn soon, so do let me know if you'll need a pair of W1000 earpads(highly recommended).

This W1000 was rarely used by me, was only kept as part of a collection due to its out of production now and quite rare. I'm a collector of Audio Technica wood headphones. These were stored in a dust free and humidity controlled box when not in use, really took good care of them, but time for a new owner due to current space constraints.

All the pages of the book are present, but chunks of them have come loose and detached from the binding; they are all there and not lost though. Edges of the pages have some yellowing to them. This is a good book and it was well used. They came with a couple of CDs, but I no longer have them with me.

Hi guys I have a problem, I need some suggestions from all the experts and those who have experience in Linux. Before we go any further, I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to you guys for taking the time to help me out. I truly appreciate the help. I'm a total newbie to this so any help you guys can give me would be great!

Right, I ran into a problem when trying to install BlueCat Linux. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04.1.

Here are the installation instructions:

1. Copy /mnt/cdrom/BlueCat_i386 and all its subdirectories to, for example, /tmp.
2. Move "install" from /tmp/BlueCat_i386 to /tmp.
3. cd /opt/BlueCat.
4. Execute /tmp/install.

My problem is this:

root@sanjeev-desktop:/tmp# cd /opt/BlueCat
root@sanjeev-desktop:/opt/BlueCat# /tmp/install
Installation directory must be empty
install: terminating
root@sanjeev-desktop:/opt/BlueCat# /bin/ls: cannot access *: No such file or directory

Could you guys tell me why I'm getting this error and how I can resolve it please? I've already set all the relevant folder permissions to rwx and I'm using sudo passwrd.

If you guys want, I can post everything I typed in the terminal. :confused_face:
