Recently, there are 2 salary survey results released. One is by Robert Walters, a famous global head hunting company. Another is by ZDNet Asia, a famous IT web portal.

According to ZDNet Asia's survey, the average annual IT salary in Malaysia was RM72,144.

According to Robert Walters, the annual salary of the following positions are:
Accountant (1-4 years experience) RM36-48k
Auditor (1-4 years experience) RM40-85k
Server admin RM60k
Database admin RM70k
Network engineer RM80k
.Net software engineer RM55k
C++ software engineer RM65k
Java software engineer RM75k
