For the past 1 week, i have been getting the error "678 The Remote Computer Is Not Responding" on my pc, and couldn't get connected to the internet, my Lan and WAN is lit on and stable as well.....i tried replacing the LAN cable and telephone cable as well, but still the problem exist....called to the hotline and they just asked me uninstall and reinstall the dialer which i did before calling them....and asked them to reset my connection as well but its not helping...so any solution guys?

hey guys i currently facing the problem of my pc unable to connect to the internet....as i know streamyx is having their "maintenance" therefore difficulty of getting connect to the internet will surface but myt problem is a lil wierd as my laptop could connect to the internet but not my pc....everytime i try 2 connect to the net using pc, pop up window will juz stay at "connecting through WAN Miniport (PPPOE)..." for seconds b4 cuming out error 678..and i aldy try reconnecting the LAN and Wan cable n both led r on at the modem....so any experts out there tat could me with my prob/ thanks in advance for any help....

problem with window explorer for vista

i'm facing a problem with my laptop, os = vista, everytime when i want 2 close a folder, the system just got hang n i need to close the whole window explorer in order to solve the problem....i don't know how to check the problem in microsoft so i m just posting the problem n hopefully sumbody will help me out

help needed cpu usage 100% all the time

i didn't know what happen, but whichever program i'm using like media player classic or firefox, it will max to full up the total cpu usage to 100% and make everythg slow...i have check with lavasoft ad-adware, avg, spybot, malwarebytes but can't detect anythg...i posted up the hijackthis log...anybody could help?

usually when i download from megaupload or rapidshare, it usually reaches at least 50kb per files, but since the last week, the speed has decrease to only 20kb max per file, but when i download youtube files, it can still reach my usual 50kb like last time...btw i'm using free download manager....is there any help to change bac my speed to 50kb at least?

video playing problems

hie guys, i just reformatted my xp recently and starts to get this video problems..whenever i played avi files, it can play perfectly without any lags, but when i apply subtitles on it, it started to lag every 4mins where audio play 1st while the video comes...meanwhile it lags everytime i try to play realmedia or rmvb type of videos and its even worse when try playing mp4 format where the screen totally lag terribly but sound is fine, hope u guys could help me on this, btw i'm using k-lite media codec pack...

I'm having a problem with Firefox. Whenever I try loading some pages, I get the following error:

I have the latest version of Firefox, and it worked fine up to a few days ago. After that, it went bad... Also, to make things stranger, I can perfectly load some other pages. For example, I can load http://www.google.com but if I try doing a search nothing happens. Facebook is as dead as it gets. I tried turning off the firewall - no effect. I scanned the machine for malware, but it's clean. I have given up searching the solution on my own, so any help would be most welcomed.

as in the description my pc starts to act wierd after i got into a spyware name worm win.32 Net Booster which i solve it by downloading some SmitFraudFix v2.346 (WinXP, Win2K) tool, and it did really remove all pop-ups and hidden local drive problems...however, that's the time where it starts to act wierd again, whenever my pc is load up the usage of ram has increased in task manager and no xtra activity compared with the time before infected by this spyware and whenever i browser the net, either the pages i had browser showed up tis msg "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression." or the pages is half loaded, i have use CCleaner, AusLogics BoostSpeed, Spybot - Search & Destroy, Uniblue Power Suite and AVG to eliminated every possible corrupted files but nth has changes.....so any helps from the experts at LYN?
