z610i making video call

Hi all,

I am using Sone Ericsson z610i with Maxis Postpaid 75 plan (my SIM card supported 3G capability). I try to make a video call but it failed, and according to the service center operator, they will activate my 3G service within 24 hours.

my question is:
1. how can I check whether my 3G service is up and available?

2. once the 3G service is up, is that means I will be able to make a video call without further setting?

3. If need any configuration to be done on the phone, please kindly let me know, thanks
