hey guys so im hoping you can help me get some info .

im a student which means im limited in budget. i am the type of person who thinks that if the quality isnt good then there isnt any point in doing it so when i say im looking for the cheapest place to do it i dont mean cheap crappy quality, i dont mind paying the little extra to make sure the job is done right.

so here are the problems with my car i'd like to try and fix if possible:

-windshield is cracked a little bit in the center

- side skirting is loose and the clips are broken so i wont stick back in place

- small dent on the front left side of the car, most damage is on the plastic bumper but there is a minor dent on the metal

- want to repaint the whole car

- inside interior is stained will soft drinks, sweat, cigarette scraps etc.

thanks in advance any help is appreciated if you could put down a rough estimate of how much it would cost and where the location is, it would be great! also i stay around KL but i frequently travel to sunway, subang.

So earlier i asked if it is possible to get a car loan for a car that is older than 15 years old and costs around 10,000 MYR. The answer i got to this question was no it is not possible. Now i am wondering what are my other options of getting a loan for a car that is older than 15 years old and costs around 10,000 MYR ? and is there one similar to a car loan? i've heard of getting a personal loan but the interest is much higher than that of a car loan :/

Hey everyone
Thanks for taking the time to open this post and take a look and maybe help me out.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place :/
I'm a student and travel around 50KM++ a day due to the distance between my home and my uni.
I am currently driving a proton Gen 2 (2005/2006 i think) given to me by my brother when he went to work overseas.
Currently the car is around 9 years old and is at 200k + kilometers, I'd buy a new car but as a student with no funding i dont have a choice really.
Anyways to the point, over the 9 years the car interior and exterior has really taken a beating and so im looking to make the cars interior and exterior a little nicer.
Where can i get OEM proton pars such as seats, steering wheel, and all those other little things that can make my car look and feet better?

exterior wise im also hoping to maybe touch up the paint job a little and know out some very small dents (probably due to little stones or rocks from the road), can anyone suggest a good affordable place for me to do it?

Hey guys i dont know if this is the right place to ask this question but i dont know where to ask. So if there is a better place to post this please let me know.
Anyway this is my question, any help is greatly appreciated.

I want to order a laptop from the US via ebay or amazon it wil cost about RM900. Will i get taxed and will i be required to pay for SIRIM approval?

I tried finding the answer online but the website for malaysia custom and SIRIM info is very useless, i call oso never pick up the phone!!

to my understanding of what i have read not from a non reliable source is that
1.Computers are considered duty free when import to malaysia
2. According to a forum post from 2008, someone said that SIRIM sticker is only needed for communication devices like mobile phones and that Laptop is not considered 'commuication' device so no need for SIRIM sticker?
3. Someone said need to pay tax if over RM500 is this true even though computers are supposed to be 'duty' free import goods?

Can you guys please help me answer these questions? thank you ! Any help is greatly appreciated!!
