Buying from Indonesia seller dont post abroad

Hi guys.

Short questions. I am buying some merchandise from this festival in Indonesia. But the seller dont do postage abroad. Only within indonesia.

So how can I get the items safely delivered to Malaysia? Is there any kind of service that can be third party to receive the item in Indonesia and deliver it to Malaysia? I used this kind of service but for items from UK years ago, and cannot find any similar service provided for Indonesia.

Me and my wife are looking to buy our first property. We have been looking around for quite some time and have shortlisted two upcoming projects based on our requirements.

Project 1
Location : Bandar Mahkota Cheras
Type : Low Density Condominium [Freehold]
House : 1178 sqft, 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
Price : RM530k
Completion : 2021
Package :
- 1% DP
- Basic bare unit
- RM8k kitchen cabinet voucher

Project 2
Location : Taman Melawati
Type : Low Density Condominium [Leasehold]
House : 1070 sqft, 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
Price : RM660k
Completion : 2022

- 2% DP
- Fully-furnished unit, or RM20k voucher.
- Timber flooring in bedrooms
- RM70k cashback rebates

About us, we have been married for almost three years, with no kids yet at the moment. Planning to have a kid or two by the time we get the house.
My basic salary now @ RM6.5k, Waifu is earning RM5k, and we agreed to share the commitment of the mortgage later on.

For Project 1, we are comfortable with the entry price and basic package. Location-wise is so-so because Cheras-KL commute is quite hectic. The plus points for this condo is-- low density (less than 200 units), and Freehold.

For Project 2, the entry price is on higher end of our budget. Location is better, nearer to KL. The package is quite attractive, low density condo (less than 200 units) and comes with fully-furnished, plus RM70k rebates which we plan to stash into the investment accounts. The only problem apart from the higher entry price is-- Leasehold.

Or else, we continue to look for better property and package available.

So our concern are;

1. will the price of the low-density condo able to compete with other condo that have better facilities and connectivity (MRT) in Cheras?
2. will it be hard to sell leasehold property with that entry price, after say 80 -75 years of lease left. can we still make some profit out of it or it's a trap??

Mahkamah Majistret Kajang

As i have a court hearing tomorrow for a JPJ summons coz of no expired road tax and no insurance, the place of hearing is at Mahkamah Majistret Kajang. I just google the place and found that its located right in Putrajaya. Is it true? There another Kompleks Mahkamah in Kajang. So i'm a bit confused where to go tomorrow.

Anyone here knows where is the exact location for the Mahkamah Majistret Kajang? Thanks in advance.

Insurance Matters

Hi guys,

This morning I was driving to Melaka in a trunk road when I see a 1 tonne lorry from the opposing lane losing control and going into my lane. As I try my best to avoid the lorry, I was hit at the passenger door right side, body and etc. Luckily I was okay, not injured but unfortunately my car is in quite bad conditions due to the hit.

The lorry is a commercial lorry, as soon after the accident, the staffs from this company came and I asked around with them. But none of them could give me any decision, as the said have to refer to thier boss. So after the police report was made, I sent my car to P1 CoE (as I'm staying in Shah Alam) thinking that I can claim third-party insurance. I have to pay the carrier charge first, as I wanted to send it from Melaka to Shah Alam.

When I asked the PIC at the repair centre, he mentioned that any accidents involving commercial vehicles such as bas, lorry, etc cannot be claimed as third-party, hence I have to claim my own insurance. Is it true? Noobie here. Then, can I claim the carrier charges to third-party / my insurance? and the guys at the repair centre said that I can claim for the total nos. of days of my car being repair till I get it back. Where can I check this?

he called me and ask me out to hangout and something like that...

he picked me up and start to drive, i thought we are going somewhere nearby..as he drives, i asked him where are we going..so he said that he's going to see some other friends to hangout..than i started to feel something fishy going out here..

soon, he started to open stories like how's works, what's my life plan, when to get married and stuff..he told me abt once his claims abt rm15k rejected by his company due to reasons, and he started to feel down and stuff..then he said that one of his kolik resigned just after working for less than 5 months..so i asked why, issit because of the company or what..then he start to story abt his friend's current so-called business he mentioned that in just two months, his friend can make up to rm19k/month, and there are many professionals such as doctors/engineers quit their job to do this business.

it turned out that my friend bring me to their so-called makan2 session.. as we already near the area, so i just follow the suit lah, no harm lah kan..started out with makan-makan, i thought we are going to fancy place or hotel, when we reached the area, it was at a bangsal in front of stadium titiwangsa at tasik titiwangsa. the menu also so-so only, nasi lemak, mee hun goreng, ayam goreng and stuff..so we eat there and more people are coming to the place..estimated around 100 ppls..while eating, my friends pointed out to several people, saying that he/she was the doctor/engineer/manager/pilot at [insert some big companies here], quit their job and start to earn much2 more money doing the business.

my friend said that the session is nothing, just makan2 and kenal2 dgn org..so after makan2, he start to introduce me to some 'big' people, whose started this business while ago and now earning good money from it. but the things is, they never really mentioned what is the business they're doing, but they just ask about yourself, what your doing, your plan and stuff. then they told us story how the business change their life, what they did before, how hard the life then and how's the condition now. but when i ask what they really do, they said that they cannot tell me there, they only can tell me at the office, hence they are inviting me to come to the office, anytime, weeknd so we can discuss details. what they told me is that the businees is about trading, consultation and etc.

i just layan saje for the sake of my friend, whose i seen already joined the business and changed cars. but i still sceptical about all this mlm-pyramid-direct selling kinda activities. i just told him that i'll inform him if i got time to go to the office..

update: he just called me said that he set-up appointment for tonite, but i softly rejected, told him i got something else to do tonite

Just want to know how did you guys do it? The famous 1st question asked during interview is "Introduce yourself".

Normally I just went to tell them my name, age and blablabla abt my personal info

Then I explained my educational background before briefed them abt my working experience and internship.

But somehow I found it kinda boring and normal, not really a good start to an interview..

I've made a hotel room reservation using online booking site (agoda,booking.com etc). I used my debit card during the reservation.

Then, due to unforeseen circumstances, i have to cancel my reservation. I have sent email to the online site to notify them and such.

They replied and said that i've been charged for the first night coz by the late cancellation.

I'm wondering how they are going to charge me since i used debit card, not credit card. and there no so much left in my account

am i going to be blacklisted , how the process is going to be..
