A LGA 1155 socket question

Hello everyone.

I have an I3 2100 on a motherboard that was taken from an Aspire x3960 socket 1155. It works perfectly right now but I recently decided to purchase an I5 3450 from a fellow forumer which I assumed would work with my 1155 socket motherboard. Unfortunately after receiving the item and installing it on my motherboard it gave a 4 beep error code which iinm is a code for fatal error from a main component. I assume its the I5 3450 CPU since when I inserted my I3 back into the mboard it runs perfectly. Even after receiving another CPU from the seller I still have the same problems with it.

My question is, is there any factors I have overlooked that can cause that certain CPU to fail? Will a motherboard change rectify the problem?

Mind you some of the things I've tried to fix the problem is upgraded the bios for the motherboard, and reseated the whole PC. The problem is everytime I changed back to my I3 the system works flawlessly.

Any feedback is extremely appreciated thanks.

Hi all.. need some support here

Can't start my PC with these hardware. I'm Using standard value rams clocked as above on a Gigabyte G41M-Combo with its DDR2 speed at 1066. Can it run on the following configuration or do i need to change to a slower motherboard? Thanks for any response

can someone confirm something for me? the left cpuz was a screenshot i took from legit reviews site " http://www.legitreviews.com/article/690/1/ " whilst the right one is my proc.. i oc'd a bit so the fsb is not the same but the core speed seemed like too much of a difference.. is my proc faulty runnin at 1.7 where it should be running at atleast 2.7 i think or i'm reading the whole cpuz wrongly?

hello oh wise low yat forum people.. i/m here to tanya2 sikit bout networking things that i want to do..

got a celcom rm68 plan 365kb/s i think and currently connected using USB modem (a pda actually).. i'm also regularly connected to a LAN connection but i can't use the two connections at the same time due to the usb modem.

so my question is.. is it possible to connect to both LAN connection and internet at the same time using that usb modem? and is it possible to share the internet with another pc on that LAN network?

i'm using ms Vista ultimate 32 bit
