Regarding my CCF CPU cooler

Hey guys. Since the Air-Cooling thread got too less people to wait for a reply, I'll re-post here.

I'm in a dilemma now. Currently I'm using Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer for almost 2 years. Now my Q9550 temps are getting too high for my comfort, highest 86C at 1st core at 3.45GHz in Prime95.

I haven't reapply the TIM since I first use it, plus somebody in my house had thrown it away. I also notice that the fan speed is down to 1600RPM instead of max 2000RPM.

So, I'm thinking,

>> do I need to buy a better cooler than CCF (budget RM150) or,

>> do I just have go buy a good TIM and/or performance fan?

P.S. - I've been reading reviews especially CCF and CM Hyper 212+(within my budget). But the results were mixed lol. Some shows CCF is better, and some shows CM is better.

Any suggestion/recommendation you guys could offer? I'll appreciate it.

im currently deciding to buy 2x2gb 1066mhz ram. the Kingston HyperX the cheapest around i can find. then there's two nearly same product but with diff latency.

anyone have any experience on both ram? is there any really difference in performance?

i recently upgrade my pc.bought a new mobo, DFI Blood Iron P45.put everything in place.when i boot,the bios didnt detect my dvdrw ide.

i already tried clear cmos,change ide jumper to cable select,tried various ways of ide cable connection.but still didnt detect.and there's no error in bios during post also lol =x

now i cant reinstall vista for the new mobo.but to my surprise, my pc boot to vista by itself without reinstalling one lol o.O"

any help is appreciated thx

im thinking of upgrading to ep45-ud3r.but before buying one, i need some advice and clarification.
Is there any precaution or task that i need to perform in order to change to a new motherboard? do i have to reinstall my windows vista or will it be just like plug-and-play?
