Hello sound hounds!

Love music but can never feel the bass because your neighbors/girlfriend/cat don't like the heavy vibrations from a good subwoofer?

It's essentially a subwoofer backpack that vibrates according to the low frequencies all bass-lovers want out of a big sub with none of the noise complaints. Music LOVERS in general - Seriously, every single song that has bass in it (which is like 95% of music) is much much improved with an actual subwoofer. In your case this means you can listen to any song and get the FULL feeling of ALL the music, instead of just some meager bass from your headphones. If you already own a hi-fi, then this may not be for you. Then again, do you have a Hi-fi in your CAR? While you walk around your KITCHEN? How about at a PARK? The M2 will blow your audiophile ears for sure.

Movie addicts - Yes, that's right, even movie lovers will get a kick (in the bass) owning one of these M2s. That action movie not enough power? Wear a set of headphones + an M2 and be literally blown away when you feel the explosions, guns, and other chunky thunks in a movie instead of just hearing them. Sure you will need a pair to watch with someone else, but can you imagine watching a movie on an iPad and headphones and STILL get that cinema Dolby bass?

Any audio enthusiasts or sound companies out there looking for a solid set of speakers that can rock a party? I've used this set of speakers for events up to 400 people indoors, 300 outdoors.

Condition: 8/10. Some scratches on the paint, sound is 100% perfect.

Broke my Suzuki Alto 155/65/R14 rim

Ran over a frikkin metal thing on the road accidentally and broke my rim entirely. Anyone know what a new one would cost and where I could get it?

Suzuki service center say cost RM1010 for ONE rim and may need up to 3 months to order if no spare part. PLUS tire, PLUS service fee. Sien.

Bought a couple of earplugs because I would like to save my hearing. These plugs work great for anywhere with loud sounds like airplanes, clubs, bars, noisy neighbors, babies... you get the idea. I've tested my pair and they work great! I can still hear my car signal light ticking even with these plugs on.

Overall these plugs will be good if you are in noisy environments or love clubbing. The sound level is reduced but that means your hearing will last much much longer. You can still hear people talk (some reviews say you can hear talking BETTER, yet to try) and you can still feel the music for sure.

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post it on, but I have to ask anyway.

I received a letter two weeks ago that customs has wonderfully chosen to 'rampas' an item stated as 'Barang Lucah'. The thing is, I don't know what on earth it could be? I don't recall ordering anything even remotely of the sort (all I have now is an S3 phone case otw..). So what should/can I do about it? Should I go check it out and see what on earth it could be? Or do I just ignore it? I'm kind of curious as to what it is though...

Any help appreciated!

Pos Malaysia International Mail Procedures

Hey all,

Does anyone have any reliable information on how international mail (coming in) is handled in Malaysia? I was thinking of buying something online, but was worried about a couple of things. If an item is sent as regular mail (like a letter), what are the procedures that go on Malaysia-side? Will they scan everything in an X-ray or does it get opened in any way? My item might be sensitive to X-rays so I was wondering what kind of things they do to mail here.

What's the likelihood of customs picking up my letter-lookalike and opening it up/scanning it? I don't want to deal with the department cause it's so far, and I don't want to be scammed by Pos Malaysia. Again, any info on the procedure would be a great help.

[WTA] Where can I get materials to build?

Hi there LYN-ers,

I have a cat at home who I love very much, and I was interested in building toys and structures for her entertainment. I was wondering if anyone knew where one could get various materials needed to construct such things.

I will need:
Plywood
Wire mesh
Carpeting
Sisal rope
A place to get feathers (for toys)

And plenty of other things. Is there a place which has all these items in one store or sells them cheap? Am really interested in doing this.

Kittens 4 Adoption! (1-4)

Hi all!

Posted earlier on adoption thread, but no biters.

4 adorable kittens can be adopted. All 4 are big enough to eat wet food on their own, are fairly boisterous (fun!), and are very loving. Found these kittens in SS15 (Rojak) out in the sun without anyone to care for them. Have been taking care of them for 2 weeks and can't keep doing it anymore. I'm giving them a last chance at life, but am forced to continue with my own.

All four have cute white paws with different colorings. 2 are black, 1 is zebra-like, and 1 is black and orange (my favorite!). All 4 are now learning to use a litter box (but need help covering) and are very docile once fed.

Please PM me if you want pictures or would like to take a look at them. I live in Bukit Jelutong, but I can ferry them to Subang for a meet and greet!

I've been meaning to take my cat to the vet for a long time. Just brought her across the world from the US, and haven't had her checked up in 8 months! Getting a little concerned about the state of her health and would like to find a good long term vet to go to. Would like reviews and suggestions on vets in Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Puchong, or even Petaling Jaya.

Starting up a pet store

Hey there,

For many months now I've been interested in creating my own pet store. I've looked up on most of the things I would need, such as location, start up money, and suppliers. What I'd like to ask the Lowyat people is:

Does anyone know a good pet store supplier or have contacts with companies that import pet items? That is my biggest problem. The pet store concept I had in particular requires imports from foreign countries, as the items I want will probably be there. I've never seen them in local pet stores.

I think my idea will succeed as long as I can get a good supplier that can satisfy the store's needs.
