I'm using a Curve 8520 and have just switched to Maxis BIS after starting on the Xpax unlimited.

i've just noticed that all emails i send out will automatically be encoded in Chinese (charset="big5-hkscs" ) instead of charset="UTF-8".

have gone into the options and selected "Automatic" but it still sends ugly emails.
my input language and default phone language is also English UK and i never had this problem earlier (when on Xpax).

googled like mad and also haven't found a solution.

help. please.
