I'm looking to make some small scale web-based games/apps so I'll be working with programmers. I'm wondering what are some common things that programmers have encountered in their company that they think it's unnecessary or counter-productive? Hi, I'm looking for a decent quality cardioid mic with a budget of RM400+-. Currently using a RM25 mic and it has the worst quality I've ever experienced, even my cheap headphone mic is better.

Preferably those that are purchasable in KL shops and not through online delivery and no headphone + mic pls, just table-top standalone mic.

Purpose: Commentary, vocal recordings.

Any recommendations?

Howdy y'all, I'm looking to upgrade my pc as I feel it's not performing well enough to give me a smooth gaming experience. Apologies for my lack of knowledge in PC-related stuffs.

My rig:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2.33GHz
Nvidia GeForce GT 440
4GB RAM
21" Samsung SyncMaster 2233sw and running on 1920 x 1080 resolution.

My budget:
RM500~RM600 for a graphic card. Priority upgrade.
RM400~RM500 for any necessary upgrade. However, I hope not

Re-using:
Everything apart from the upgrades. Monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.

Purpose
Gaming.

Currently I'm playing games like Arma 2 DayZ mod, Guild Wars 2, Dota 2 and Minecraft. Hopefully getting into Battlefield series as well as DayZ standalone (when it comes out) with the new upgrade without experiencing lags or fps drop on medium settings.

Lowering in-game details for performance is a usual thing for me simply cause I can't stand sudden spikes or drop in performance during gaming. However, I do wish to run on medium settings. Any higher than that is a luxury.

Intended purchase date
Next week onwards.

Preference:
I'm not a die hard fan, but my best graphic card was a Nvidia 8800GT last 4 or 5 years ago. So.. preferably Nvidia but if given that my budget is more suitable towards ATI, I would go for it.

Considered
I've considered GTX 650 and GTX 560. Both about the same price, but one is new and one is old. However, the older (GTX 560) has better performance than the new one (GTX 650)

Computer unable to run

Good day

My computer was unable to fully run after a freeze with green vertical lines on the screen. After the freeze I tried restarting the computer and the display is just filled with vertical and horizontal lines. Also, it can only boot up to the part where it shows Windows XP with the loading bar at the bottom, then freeze from there on.

I tried replugging in the Graphics Card, did not work

I have 2 rams, so I tried to run one at a time for both, did not work

What could be my problem?

My PC couldn't connect to the internet since yesterday. And I realize that at the back of the CPU, there's this red light which I assume it's the LAN adapter. It's suppose to be blinking in green lights right?

Hey guys, I'm having problem with my computer connecting to the internet

Well everything seems fine, my laptop is using cable connection and so does my desktop. I could go online only with my laptop, and my desktop says there's limited or no connection.

I've tried replugging in the LAN cable at the back of the pc and exchanging LAN cables with my laptop. There is light blinking at the back and yet still no connection

Hi I am planning to learn piano without going for classes. Is it recommended? I don't really like going for classes..
I got a bad history taking classes for organs when I was younger, but my interest wasn't that much and I thought it would be cool. You know, organs lol.

Followed the instructions given by iclarified and after restoring my phone, I got this error from redsn0w
