1. We have received word from Monoprice that the 8320 - Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - Silver has been DISCONTINUED.
2. Monoprice has indicated to us that the alternative for the 8320 is the 9927 (same model but black) and that in the long run, the replacement is the 13801 (13801click here for more info)

SOYO Dragon 2 Platinum Motherboard Problems

Hello to everyone.

Basic Specs

CPU : Intel P4 3.0GHz Prescott
Mobo: Soyo Dragon 2 Platinum Intel 875 Chipset
Graphic Card: Leadtek Winfast A6600
RAM: 512MB
PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power 380W

Problem:

My system will not POST. Previously, long beeps are heard and after a pause, another long beep. Now, i presume it has got worse. No beeps at all but the CPU fan, GC fan and PSU fans are running. When I witch on the power, the mobo LED indicates that power is reaching the mobo from the PSU. AGP LED does not lit (which is a good thing coz it only lits if the GC is faulty).

I have tested my CPU, graphic card, ram and PSU seperately on another system and all are working fine. I believe the motherboard is the problem since it does not POST even with a completely changed set of CPU, graphic card, RAM and PSU.

However, I do not know what is the real problem. I have tried resetting the CMOS but to no avail. Yes I have RTFM (Read the Freakin Manual). Not much help. I see no visible sign of bad capacitors.

Questions

1. Is there any way I can fix this on my own?
2. Are there any reputable technicians who can fix this mobo for me (of course I'll pay). If there are, can anyone provide me with contact info (name, number, address etc.).
3. Just in case I cant get help on the mobo, anyone looking to sell their (a decent performing) mobo (socket 478) for a good price?
