Mainboard Couldn't Start

I'm currently using Intel DG33BU with core 2 duo 2.0ghz. Before this happened, the computer has been periodically shut off by itself after running for a while ( less than 15 minutes). Then, i could not boot up the system anymore. There's a green bright light lighted up though on the mainboard but couldn't boot up. So then i replaced the PSU thinking that it may be the PSU providing unstable current. That did solved the problem or rather making able to boot up the computer but not for long. Then the problem occured again and i couldn't seem to boot up the com. ( green light still lighted up on the mainboard.

Things that i have done to get the system booted up :-
1. Removing the CMOS battery and putting it back after a while.
2. Taking out the processor/ram and putting it back in place.
3. Removing all power connections leaving only power cables to the mainboard. (12V cable intact on mainboard)
4. No cards on the mainboard including the graphic card. Using on-board now.
5. Tested the switch cable for the mainboard on another mainboard and it turns out to be fine.

Note : ONLY the RAM, Processor, CMOS battery, and power cables to the mainboard is intact.

So what should i do? Replace the mainboard? I still don't get why the green light on the mainboard is lighted up but it just can't boot up.
