Hi, sorry if this has been asked numerous times but I can't find answer online.

The house I currently live in is under my sister's name. She wants to change the title to my name. House value is less than 300k. What is the procedure I need to go through to do this. Do I need to engage a lawyer? And how much will this cost me.

Hey team,

Long story short, my wifi/router modem was struck by lightning about a week ago. It was the D-Link 2640B. Never gave me problem, very reliable router. A quick call to TM and they gave me a replacement modem. Unfortunately, its this weird brand that ive never heard before, the Innacomm W3400V6. And this thing is a piece of crap. Bad Wifi signal, dodgy fluctuating speed and for some odd reason, my IP address thinks im in Sabah (im in Johor btw, and the 2640B got not problem detecting my location). Is that normal by the way?? (fyi my knowledge in networking is very very minimal)

So now im thinking about shelving this bloody router and buy a new one. i heard good things about Tp-link and quite affordable. im also considering Cisco, if within budget. Is there any good brand and model that you guys can recommend to me. And what brand i should avoid. Thank you.

New scam trick

Not sure if you guys know about this trick or not, but just a heads up.

So I opened a sale thread:

From what you can see, I put there that someone reserved the phone already and i put the buyer's username

Then the scammer went and contacted the buyer via phone (i think he search the username posts and topics) and pretend to be me! Asking the buyer to bank-in money into a dodgy Maybank account with weird name (could be Nigerian or Iranian)

So please be careful when it comes to dealing in Lowyat. Thats why i never put my phone number in sale thread. Only PM and then only I give my phone number out.

Sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question. My sister's BlackBerry 8520 is critically ill and she bought it last year in October. It is an original set from Celcom with the SAMART i-mobile sticker under the battery cover. I know one company (Brightstar is it?) provide 18 months warranty. What about SAMART i-mobile, do they have 18 months warranty as well for Blackberry?

Celcom Xpax BIS 250

Hey guys,

My sister bought the Curve 8520 from Celcom today and got that compulsory RM50 prepay topup with it as well. I haven't been using Blackberry for a while so I thought why not take my 8900 for a spin. Register the simcard, put credit, yada yada yada.

At 4pm today, I activated the BIS 250, the RM2.50 a day Blackberry service. From what I read, it can take up to 24 hours for activation. Fine, I can wait, but that damn thing took RM2.50 out of my credit in advance, which I thought would go towards the BIS once it is activated. But just now at 12 midnight, it deduct another RM2.50! Im out RM5.00 and still no BIS!

Im not really sure what is happening here, but Im definitely pissed. Im not the "call customer service" kind of person so I'm thinking about going to Celcom tomorrow and throw some flying f*** at them. But before i do that, anybody here facing the same problem?

Midnight shower, good or bad?

Ok, here's the thing. I have this thing where I've got to have one last shower before I go to sleep, maybe around 10-11 pm. According to urban legend, showering at night is not good for your health, bla bla bla, but I've been doing it for as long as I can remember and I don't really give a shit. Not that I'm worried or anything but this girl I've been seeing on the internet (goddamit I'm such a loser ) made me promise not to take shower at night anymore. And I was like "Hello b****! If I want to shower at night, I'll shower at night!" but of course I did not say it to her coz she is like the closest thing I have to a real girlfriend (i know, pathetic much. i should go kill myself )

ok, so enough with the too-much-information. Tell me, showering at night, is it really that bad?

i got a PM from Staff (Goldfries) about my sig, and im wondering what is wrong with it. have been using it for a while now. i read the FAQ and i honestly do not know what is wrong with it. anyway, i put it back up (the original sig) and if any mod or staff can point out which part is violating the FAQ, i would gladly take it down and do some changes to it. thanx.

hey guys, sorry to post this here but i cant seem to find thread for this phone. anyway, i just got this phone and im wondering if i can do a hard reset on it. i know i can do a master reset (reset all), but i want to have the whole phone cleaned. any help would be appreciated. tried google, but theres no topic on hard reseting the phone.
