Need Recommendation for 16 Port Network Switch

Have been doing weeks of research but difficult to get a handle on this as I'm not very technical. Maybe the sifus here can help?

Basically I need to distribute 100Mbps of broadband to a variety of devices at home including a wifi AP (or two), 2 laptops, 2 desktops, 2 smart TVs, Apple TV, and PS. Maybe a couple of other devices in future. Also to perform backups to a NAS (or two) from the computers. All via Cat 6 cabling. Would like very fast, reliable throughput and hassle-free (no management).

Please tolong?

Best place to audition Sonos

Hi, can anyone recommend a shop with the space and quiet to audition Sonos speakers? I walk into Atlas (The Gardens Mall) to audition the Bose speakers and of course they sound very good in that environment. But in Radio Shack, one corner with Sonos speakers couldn't really hear properly. It sounds like the Bose were better but maybe not a fair assessment because of the environment. Any suggestions?

Massive slowdown after 10.6.6?

Anybody experience after upgrade to 10.6.6 the whole computer very slow? iStat menus show 100% cpu usage even with no program running! Online I found that some people claim this works:

(in Terminal.app, type:) sudo mdutil -a -i off

which basically disable Spotlight indexing. Have been doing this and sometimes it work for a couple of hours (CPU reduce a lot immediately) but not long after that back to same thing, or it dont work at all (only like 5% reduction in CPU usage so still almost 100%).

Give up man! My laptop last time no problem, but now with 10.6.6 almost unusable sometimes - even typing this I have to type first and wait few seconds for it to appear.

Anyone also face this and got a solutions?

Monitor Resolution for 9800GTX+

I have an Asus EN9800GTX+ graphics card (512MB) which is currently driving a cheapo 17" 4:3 monitor at 1280x1024. Am thinking to get a new 22-24" 16:9 or 16:10 monitor and wondering if this graphics card can handle resolutions like 1920x1080 or 1680x1050.

I look at my current Display control panel and it looks like already set to maximum reso at 1280x1024 and I'm thinking... eh cannot be la, surely can go higher? Is it becoz I'm using the graphic card's DVI port with a dongle converter to my old monitor's VGA input and therefore if I buy a new monitor with DVI input I get more reso options?

Any guru who can share experience/advice much appreciated. Oh yes... a side question also - with this graphic card can it play Crysis at 1920x1080 or 1680x1050 at High setting? THANKS!

Anyone have interesting ways to mount their Nuvis besides the windscreen suction cup or sandbag mounts? Both these options to me are not ideal because of the power cable snaking everywhere...
