folks on this forum was talking about it since before rebrand ( it was ascend previously ) because they give u interest rate for holding crypto with them.

i have been using one for 3 -4 years, recently i decided to audit my money and found out this nexo isnt registered with our SC. it is however regulated in juridiction that looks trustworthy (UK FCA, US .. etc), just not malaysia's financial regulators.

so is it safe for malaysians to use?

i have 2 laptops running at the same time.

i prefer to have 1 laptop output its display to the other laptop monitor, without using software solution like anydesk, teamviewer etc due to latency.

are there any cable/hardware solution for that to happen? i have 2 laptop but only 1 laptop's display needs to be running and i can swap in between both.... like a kvm, except kvm is only useful in this case if you have an external monitor.

right now all countries in the world tax income via absolute value , which is how much u earn in a year

this is kinda misleading ,because people work different hours to get that income

if i work 8 hours to earn 10k vs the other guy who work 2 hours to earn 10k

its not the same

if someone work 2 jobs to earn 20k , its unfair to tax him highly given his sacrifice, compare to someone who earn 20k with 1 job alone and hence less hours.

we should assign income tax % via hourly basis

or even better idea, if you work 2 jobs, your second job income doesnt stack on top of your first job, it resets the tax bracket calculation. so 40k from first job + 40k from second job is not considered 40 + 40 = 80 (21%), rather both 40 and 40 counts towards the 6% bracket only

just my review

i went to lenovo shop looking to get a thinkpad but sales ppl convincend me to get this instead.

around 5k, Core Ultra 7 155H processor 32 gb ram 1tb storage

i used this for 6 months. very much regret it.

1) no real sleep function. The sleep it has is not real sleep. I can tell because my other laptop when you sleep it goes cool, this one, even after sleep its still running hot
2) hot like fuck, i burnt my finger more than once trying to hold it. you can literally fry an egg on it when its running hot.
3) when it gets too hot it will throttle your performance, making it suddenly lag . which means there is only 1 way to put it, up right so the heat can disippate easily.

anyone here can corroborate if their experience is the same?

Currently ayam took on a side job to help a start up founder to add new feature.

It happened because a while ago i was tasked to migrate data from old prod to new uat site. data format is json so i need to migrate to sql. so i wrote a script to sort out which go where... all is fine at this point

some eons later i created the is_notified feature where if customer needs to be notified this flag will be false and then set to true after email is sent out.

on sunday midnight i migrate from uat to new prod. but i reuse the old script where there is no handling for is_notified, because the script was written is before that flag exists, so that column got populated as default - false.

today i test trigger email.... hamplang all hundreds of users got the email because all flags are false.

gg i think he doesnt know yet.. how now? email can unsend or not?
