New Rig Suggestion

Need some advice on following rig please.

- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770
- Mobo: Asus H87 PRO LGA1150
- RAM: G.Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
- Case: Cooler Master Elite 343
- HDD: WD Red WD10EFRX 1TB
- OS: Windows 8.1 Pro

This pc is for purely work purposes and no gaming, so I dont think GPU is needed.

Suggestion on a Mid-Gaming Rig

Is has been a while since I built my last rig ... looking back at 7 years ago, so I'm kind of out dated here.

Looking to assemble a mid range gaming rig for my brother with Budget RM1500.
Games like : Dota2 HoN COD etc

No optical drive, I/O device, speaker, monitor required.
Preferred Intel and Nvdia

Need some expert knowledge here please

The problems that I having now is I got a camera, when my pc connected to the network, all the photos taken will save into my network drive (example: F drive). Once I disconnect the network, the camara seem to dont what to do coz the F drive is not there anymore.

So I would like to set a Fixed file path for my camera to Local Admin\My Documents\My Pictures, so that all photos no matter connected to the network or not, it will save under Local Admin\My Documents\My Pictures, but not F Drive.

But what I looking for is, All the users with different log on that using my Computer (1 PC) all photos that taken from the camera will go into onesame folder Local Admin\My Documents\My Pictures.

Different Users sharing a same folder

Hey guys, Need some professional help here.

Scenario
---------
I having a computer which having 4 different user accounts for 4 different users. This computer got a camera that can take photo.

Problems
----------
I need a folder that can save all the photos into one folders HOWEVER, I need to know which photo is from which users, and if possible, only the creator/owner can write/edit the photo.

Assumption
--------------
there is no setting you can change on the camera that set where the photo to be save. all photo will be save default into C:\photo.

Your help will be high appreciated

Outlook 2007 and GMail

Hi gentlemen and ladies,

I been using Gmail as my primary and only email sources for about 8 years or more. Recently, due to work reason, I will need to learn to use outlook. I got Outlook 2007 and I have set it up to linked with my GMail.
The problem that I facing now is, how can I or am I able to just sync all the latest email that I received to Outlook instead of all thousands and thousands previous emails to my outlook. Cheers.

Can someone please let me know, if I use "Ipconfig \release" to release my ip address and shut down my laptop, next time I connect my laptop into another or same network, will I be able to get another ip address ? or do i need to use "ipconfig \renew" to obtain new IP address.

Bought a Wireless Printer today, and hope to print my documents through wireless.

My Desktop PC - Do Not have wireless network card - I connect to the router through LAN.

I would like to know, is there any chance I can connect my "wireless printer" to the "wireless router" then I can print my docs through the wireless router.? Is all this make sense ?

I went to Gigabyte Comparison Site trying to find out the diff, but what I can see in the comparison chart is all the same.

Because I can't get the exact same RAM anymore, can some body please let me know how to choose others RAM that match with the one I having now?

I know I need to looking for DDR2-800MHz but about those CL6 or CL5, is it a may concern too ?

RAM - 2GB
GPU - Geforece 8800GT
Mobo - I didn't really get to check that yesterday.

He said, when he playing games like HoN and WoW. He feel the frame not running as fast as, which I recom him to get a new GPU "ATI 5770" and another "2GB Ram"

the question is, do you guys think he need to upgrade his CPU too ? and upgrading the GPU and Ram going to help him?

Pc unable to startup

Hi. Last night I turned on my comp and straight went to dinner...when I came back from dinner, I saw my comp stuck on the desktop screen. I decided to restart the comp as every going to do that obviously. When I restart my comp, nothing show up, not even my mobo screen or anything at all. Just a black screen at all time. I checked my hdd, ram(replug) and gpu ... Still the same. Izzit becoz of dead mobo?(hope not)

Monitor keep flashing (on and off)

Hi guys,

I currently bought a new monitor, graphic card and also display port to DVI adapter.

The problem I having now is, the monitor that i connected with the display port on my ATI HD 5770, keep on and off in random time frame. Sometimes, between every 2 secs, sometimes few minutes, sometimes stay on up to hours. I would like to know, anyone got any idea why is this happened? Izzit because of my display port adapter, or because of the graphic card display port output got problem, I am pretty sure the monitor is alright.

Hey guys, need some urgent help here...

Just bought a new GPU this morning Sapphire ATI 5770, after i installed the GPU, i was unable to load up my desktop screen and stuck in the windows start up screen. Mouse and keyboard are freeze too. Restarted alot times but still stuck in the same place. Then i replace the new GPU with my old GPU ATI 4850 and everythings just going fine ...

can somebody help me please?

I am looking for a laptop mainly for Web development use. Budget is less than RM2500. I having a desktop computer and this laptop will not use for any hardcore gaming or any video editing purposes. I hope any web developer out there can give me some suggestions which laptop is best for what i need. Any brand is alright for me, but not Acer.
