WTS Used Synology DS214+ 2bay NAS Casing Only

Item(s):
Used Synology DS214+ NAS dual-bay Casing only (excluding 2 HDDs)

Description:
- The Synology web-browser based admin panel is very easy to use. You can also set it up to be accessible from a personal link anywhere in the world.
- It's more than fast enough for home use. I initially bought for my side gig...but only used for 1 month and stopped using it.
- Full network sharing compatibility with both Apple/Mac and Microsoft/PC network computers.
- Has 'Ethernet Link Aggregation' so it can handle up to 2 Gigabits of network traffic. So unless you have some Solid State Drives in this thing, there is no way the network throughput is going to be the speed bottleneck. Your physical hard drives will likely limit you to about 120 Megabytes per second.
- The HelpCenter that is built into the web-browser based admin panel is surprisingly amazingly helpful.
- Works great together with my Android phones eg: DSAudio and DSVideo apps. You can auto save your photos/videos on the drive for later usage.
- Tonnes of additional apps you can download through your DSM interface on the NAS.
- Firmware auto-update

Package includes:
NAS casing, charging adaptor cable, pdf manual (Download Link)here
EXCLUDING hard disks - you can set it up with any HDD of the storage space you like
EXCLUDING original box and hard copy manual.

Price: RM1,000 or closest offer

Warranty: NA

Dealing method: Poslaju (at your own risk)/COD in Penang/Butterworth

Location: Penang/Butterworth

Contact method/details: Private message for details
---

Item(s) conditions: Like new 99%

Picture:
See attached
[attachmentid=9087007]
[attachmentid=9087008]
[attachmentid=9087009]
Plus the box and manuals

Reason for sale: Hardly used.
[WTS] 14 months 100Mbps TIME broadband contract

Item(s):

Package includes:
- 14 months contract
- All hardware equipment (modem, router, cable etc) provided by TIME that will be brought by them during the transfer setup.
- You will take over the payment existing plan subscription with account changed to your name.
- I will pay the bill until end of June. So, if you plan the transfer by mid June or earlier, you'll get the rest of JUNE for free. If TIME doesn't allow me to leave credit balance in the account, then this will not be offered. I won't use much of the broadband in June so we may make arrangement to get you the account earlier than mid June. But it really depends on my availability at home to supervise the uninstallation.

Price:
You will pay the following to TIME directly:
- RM149/month payment to 100 Mbps subscription plan (RM157.94 if incl GST 6% - see below)
[attachmentid=8781218]

- RM120 transfer/installation fee

Warranty:
- All born by TIME as per the contract with them after the transfer. You'll have to contact their customer care directly.

Dealing method:
- I'm waiting for TIME's email about the transaction of the transfer/installation fee. If it's paid upon installation, then you'll pay to them directly. Otherwise, you can transfer to me as part of me clearing all the balance bill prior to transfer. All bill will be settled prior to transfer per TIME's policy. So you will get a zero balance account without debt.

Location:
My location is in Damansara area. But the transfer has no condition on your location.
Before contacting me, please see if your area is covered TIME broadband coverage at the link below:
https://www.time.com.my/support/internet-coverage-check

Contact method/details:
Email navygreen01 AT yahoo DOT com or whatsapp me at 0182020502 for quicker response.

Item(s) conditions:
10 months by mid June 2017.
All equipments like new. Modem still has sticker on it.

Reason for sale: I'm moving to a landed property and can't bring my Fiber broadband with me. It really breaks my heart to fall back to Streamyx 8Mbps package. The contract needs to be transferred out between early June to mid June the latest. Transfer date can be discussed.

First come first serve! Latest confirmation needed by 14 May 2017.

Rgds
Tan

Atos Origins Development Side Work Culture

I've read a few topics about the support side of Atos, DHL and Shell. However, I have not seen people mentioned much about the system development side of these places.

Currently I'm interested to apply for development related vacancies for DHL and Atos. However, I wonder if anyone here can share with me their working culture, teamwork environment etc?

As far as I'm concerned, I heard that DHL has its own resource pool, then they build team by selecting people from the pool. Sometimes, some of their applications are outsourced. So, you might not be able to build industry specific knowledge base and might not be able to do much development work.

How is it like for Atos and Shell? For each industry product, they have their own team also? Or it's a mass resource pool base? If I'm not mistaken, Shell has outsourced some to Getronics also. Hmm...

How is the team spirit like at all places mentioned above?

How to hide/shield BitTorrent packets in office?

As per title.
Yes, I'm interested to know if there's any program/software that can mask your outgoing BT packets/IP Address/requests etc. Anything that allows your BT packets to escape from office firewall.
