Need some wise advice and opinion :

Current scenario,

Working as Sales , , Some sort of HOD, in a Branch.
6 Years, Not happy as not much career,

recently HeadHundted, , Public Listed company

Got the offer , 10% higher salary

Dilema :

1. New Job, lost freedom, 10% higher salary ,
2. Stay put, complaint monthly and much freedom,, as HQ was in another place and no one control here

Future plan is to do own business.

Any wiser advice here?

I am planning to purchase a router which can support Sim card and have LAN port.

Any model suggestion?

I tried search in lelong and lazada not much choice such as TP Link MR6400.

My doubts is :

1. Can i buy any router that mentioned support sim card?

2. Any prepaid plan will work with sim card ?

3. or must use postpaid?

Any user experience here to share?

Now,
i wanna setup a modem in my study room.
As one of my devices need to link to the modem in my study room, as it do not have wifi feature.

Any link of installation or the setup as normal new modem setup ?

any advice or instruction available?

FTP ON Router

Dear all ,

asking help and opinion

I am searching the new router to replace my current Unifi Stock router.
as unstable, i need to restart it almost everyday, then yes ok,
it not sometime it like IP crashed.

Used in Device:

1. Xiao MI Box
2. IP camera x 2
3. 2 Laptop
4. 2 Ipad
5. occasionally use phone connection.

after restart then will be ok

I looking at TP link WR841 ( below 200) and also Archer C7,( Below 500)

then i read advantages TP link model is better penetration using 9dbi antenna compare to C7 using db5i antenna.

C7 feature like dual band and the FTP attract me.

Mean i can plug in my HDD in the C7, then i can access my files from external?

How can we do that?

and how we can access from it?

Macbook 2012 Air 13" Battery

Dear all here,

I have a error when i charging my battery today, exclamation mark in a triangle.
i click on it , the error coming up: SERVICE BATTERY status,

Call up Apple centre.

They replied this is battery issue and need to be change a new battery
it cost abt Rm700.

i try SMC reset. no cure too.

and cannot find the battery in internet.

Anyone change the battery before?
it only last 2 years plus.

The symptom now, it drain faster. abt 2 hours.
charging slower rate.

anyone have any advise here?

Verifying Hardisk Error

Dear all sifu,

attached is the error i get from verifiying my Mac A r 2011 13"

This disk needs to be repaired using the Recovery HD. Restart your computer, holding down the Command key and the R key until you see the Apple logo. When the OS X Utilities window appears, choose Disk Utility.

i restart and repair using disk utilities, and everything is ok

i restart again, and verify it, same error happened as above

hope any sifu can advise me

Start up or bootable Disk for MAc Air

Dear all,

recently i have a software crash on Lion OS.
cannot be boot up

I need to go the Service centre and check it is software problem.

They have the portable hardisk that can boot my laptop,
Then check everything is ok, and reinstall my MAC

it charge me rm200 whihc i think is abit too much, i am still in warranty but he say exclude software

ANyone know how to create the bootable disk,
i dun have CD installer as it is Mac air.

I am wanna do a back up to my MBA .

using Time Machine. it external hard disk.

Can we just plug in any external HDD or must but the version "for MAC"

Beside we using time maching as backup, will the external also can be one the external HDD which we can store data or files?

First of all, I am happy to get a new MBA 13" for myself this week.
STill learning to use it .

I am using Yes in my other PC laptop.

in this MBA, I can install the software.

Problems: it cannot detect my Go dongle. to whoever using this will know, it log in window for Connect show the connect button.
but mine showing, please insert GO.

I restart MBA and reinsert the dongle, few times. also same.

Anyone can share or help?

dear all,

I am very new to Apple product and planning to buy ipad for my mainly business use
Purpose of buying is enable to do quotation and receive email, internet at anytime when i am outside.

I got a 4 years dell laptop, which is bulky and heavier when bring out side. so Ipad2 come into my consideration.

i have few question here and hope you guys can help me to answer.

1. if i buy the wifi version only, so i only can online when connector to wifi spot like oldtown, mcD, i noticed it got bluetooth function, can i connect to my BB 9800 ( act as modem ) to online? as my BB package is unlimited data.

2. mainly i use is excel, word, and also pdf. I see some software we need to purchase, How can i sync my docs in ipad to my pc? Since my pc is not apple product like Macbook. the docs format still be same?

3. i see jailbreak topi here, but i still cannot find why should we jailbreak it? pls enlighten me.

a Sole Propreitor or Sdn Bhd company incorporated in Malaysia,

1. have a customer in Foreign country, example singapore.

2. As customer in Singapore country, the customer will pay in SGD. Of course we cannot bank into our account.

what should we do?

1. open business account in singapore? what requirement? search few website but info limited. some charging SGD25/ month for account maintainence for balance below SGD8K. then sure loss in long term.

2. Can we bank in foreign chq curreny in malaysia"? like the foreign currency account? so we can bank into?
