Hi all,

I need some help regarding PSU issue. I have a Pentium D system and now I'm want to add on a new component - GPU, HIS x1650 Pro DDR2 256MB to it, but I worries if it is sufficient to run on my current PSU - ayam brand 300W.

Here's my specs:

Need help in cleaning up some viruses

Hi, I need some help here. My PC has been facing connection problems recently, and I suspected it was caused by an application (a free RMVB converter) I installed recently.

But since I found something fishy about the software, I uninstalled it and restored back to 2 days before the installation. However, there are still something affecting my PC. The situation is, the connection is real slow when I was surfing, a long lag even I tried Google.com, and sometimes I cant even go to internet with my PC while my laptop has no problems at all, which I tested under same circumstances, so I'm confirmed it's not caused by my router. I scanned my pc twice with the lastest update of AVG Free and found nothing.

I checked msconfig and found that there are two executables that I don't familiar with, which is

Since I disabled them on startup, the connection seems to be a little better (at least I could finish this post). I hope somebody can tell me they are not malicious executables..

There are some other symptoms, my pc is sending something out while I have all programs closed at a rate of 10-40packets when I check the LAN, and the AVG always fail to update due to connection problems.

I posted this in Price and Dealers Guide but get no response. I guessed I posted in the wrong section after I seen so many pros in hardware in this section.

I would like to know which manufacturer's lappy is more DURABLE, I mean, the laptop may last longer. I had quite bad experiences with brands like Acer, my friend claimed their lappy died in less than 2 years; Dell, most of them have problems with screen, speakers, etc in less than half a year; Compaq, the whole PC kong in less than half a year. I would have thought these were the "unlucky ones" but there are more than 2 cases for each brand stated. Sigh.. I got confused.

These brands were my first choice as they are more economical. However, I would like to get more advices before I buy a new one. I would appreciate anyone who is willing to help. Thank you.

Bad service? You call it

Well, i'm a beginner in LYN but i wish to share my experience of a computer dealer.

The story is simple, I bought a Kingston pendrive from AONE Plus around CNY 2008 but I found it was faulty after 2 months I've been using it (well, it's pretty bad luck that this is my first to have problem with Kingston pendrive). So, I tried to search for information from Google and I found the Kingston Helpline and called, they told me I could claim it from either the shop where I have purchased it or to the distributor. Well, I chose the first way as it's nearer to my place. I went back to the AONE Plus in Digital Mall (the same place I made my purchase) and they tested the pendrive to make sure it's faulty. After that, I was given a receipt or whatsoever as a proof and I was told the process would take around 3 weeks. They explained that the reason it takes 3 weeks is because that they'll have to send it back to the manufacturer where they'll send a new one to them after the manufacturer examined it. Well, I have already knew about that as I called to the Kingston Helpline, so I don't bother about 3 weeks time.

As 3 week passes, I have not receive any news from it, so I went back to the shop to claim my warranty. I have been waited at least half an hour standing in the shop while they answered me they were searching for the record, and as the result, they told me they have not receive the new pendrive yet and the process will take AT LEAST 3 weeks.

What I concern is to get my pendrive back, so I have no choice but to wait. And now, it's already at least 6 weeks but I have not receive any calls from their side.

Well, if anyone has experience in such cases, please kindly help me out or you may PM me. Appreciate your help!
