How good are public universities in Malaysia?

I'm so curious. How good are public universities in Malaysia? Facility-wise, I don't think it's all that good compared to established private university colleges. And I heard some people saying that some companies won't accept UiTM graduates due to their low quality. Is this true? Are public universities conducting their syllabus in Malay? How good are their English?
Is it true that a lot of public university grads don't get employed easily?

Mass Communication in Segi College Subang

I'm planning to study Diploma in Mass Communication at Segi College Subang. From one of the previous threads, some claim that Subang's Segi is better than the rest. Is this true?

I checked http://www.topstudylinks.com/Top-Universit...aysia-c136.aspx

And surprisingly, Segi ranked higher than KDU College, Lim Kok Wing, and some other well-known universities.
However, I also heard a lot of bad rumors about Segi. About the management, lecturers etc etc.
But the good thing is, MQA recognizes the Diploma in Mass Communication of Segi College.

Just needed to know, is it worth my time going to Segi? It's near to my house, so it'll be very convenient for my parents to send me while I wait for my driving license and car.

Thought of going to KDU in the first place because I heard the Mass Communication course there is good. But it's quite far from my house, it's all the way in Damansara Jaya and I'm living in USJ Subang Jaya.

Can't go to Taylor's because of special reasons. But I won't elaborate on that. It's just that, Taylor's is a NO for me.

I'm running a white macbook (December 2009), and the specs are:

Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Memory: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3.
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
Type: GPU
Bus: PCI
VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Is it possible to upgrade the RAM? The Processor? I just love this Macbook's design and sadly Apple discontinued the product. :/

I'm no computer genius, don't be too rough. Correct me if I'm wrong

SPM Last Minute Tips. HELP! :'(

SPM is coming in like 35 more days and yes I'm studying everyday but I seem to not have any confidence at all.

I passed every subject for my trials except Add Maths. Please, anyone have tips on what should I do?
I'm reading the small Whizz Thru reference book and I do a bit of exercise too.
I suck at Science subjects, definitely. My teacher said that I should do more past-year questions, But my problem is:

1. I still lack understanding of most topics in the syllabus.
2. If I do the exercises, and get wrong answers and don't know why, it's pointless.

I seriously don't know what I should do, I'm very worried.
FYI: Yes, I'm going for tuition classes, I even have a private tutor >_>

Here are my ugly Trial results:

BM - 60
Add Maths - 19 <- Actually improved, I always got single digits before this
Modern Maths - 42 <- Improved also, used to get 28 - 38. LOL
Physics - 45 <- Improved also, used to get 20 - 35 marks
Chemistry - 42 <- Also improved, never got marks above 40 before
Sejarah - 50 <- Improved, since I've always failed sejarah

The Alienware M11x

Currently using an Apple Macbook 13 inch and planning to buy a new laptop soon. This Alienware M11x interests me the most because
I've heard a lot of good reviews about the graphics, and the overall performance. However I also heard that it doesn't come in with a
built-in DVD/CD drive. That's a little bit of a let-down for me. Still, an external drive would still be a solve to this problem right?
I want to know what you guys think of this laptop.

Most probably I will be using my laptop for:-

- Basic browsing
- Light or medium gaming
- Listening to music
- Watching movies
- Video editing
- Burning data

Hey, I just need some advice. I'm really confused. He said that he really loved me.
But then when I asked him again later, he said that he doesn't know.
I think it's more of in a joking way, judging by the way he talked to me.
But you know, sometimes I'm confused. Sometimes, when I asked him wether he loves me or not,
I get scold, he said it's because I always asked the same question.
I remembered that he got so angry when someone talked bad things about me, and he fought with the guy.
He's the playful type btw. Playful as in a little bit immature, but he is not a playboy.
I found out that he likes someone, but he told me that he still loves me. He likes her, but he LOVES me.
But the big question is: If your boyfriend scold you for asking him if he loves you, does that mean he doesn't?
I hope to get advices, and I hope you all would be friendly.

Microsoft Office For Mac Issues

7 Transformation Pack Issue

Hey guys, I recently installed Windows 7 Transformation Pack from www.windowsxlive.com ,
and it gave me too many issues so I got rid of it. However, after I uninstall it, my taskbar did not turn back
to original look. It had that Windows 7 look, the 'compact' window look. I really really want to have my original

Hi, I have been with my boyfriend more than a year now, and the problem is, he is not really outgoing with me(I dunno why).
He is outgoing with his friends though. But not with me. I am an outgoing girl,and I really can't stand being so bored.
Well, our interests are very different, in terms of Music and Lifestyle.

He listens to classic, he hates the new modern rock(hardcore), whereas I love the new and on music.
He talks worse than my dad, and sometimes I feel bored.
Believe it or not, we're only 15, but we take relationships seriously.
He can't seem to enjoy to the fullest.
Now, interests doesn't really matter, but he is really really emo and boring with me.
He feels EXTREMELY jealous when I talk to other guys, he'll intend to read my Myspace comments.
And when he sees a suspicious comment, he will ask me some weird questions.

Now, my questions is :

How do I make our relationship better?
Enjoying is hard when he is stuck up.
I really do love him, and he really loves me too.
But sometimes I do wish he was more outgoing. It's rare to see my happy from the bottom of my heart when I am with him.

PS: Please dont say things like : 'Hey, its just puppy love.' Or 'Break up with him'.

Hi all , my friend has a Toshiba Qosmio F20 and running Windows Vista Ultimate(Pirated)

It cant connect to the internet. Windows cannot identify the problem. He tried to uninstall his Kaspersky,
but it says : 'You can't delete this file because you are not the administrator'

But my friend is the admin. What should he do ?

Hey there. My friend has a problem after he upgraded his Qosmio's OS , from XP to Vista. He cant seem to find sound drivers for Vista and tried to google it , however failed to get satisfying results. Any solutions ? Anyone ? Help is very much appreciated.

Problems with some security programs!

Hey there. My new lappie comes with Vista Home Basic SP1 , and I installed Spybot and AVG free. They cant seem to remove threats.

AVG : 'Access Denied'
Spybot : Message appears saying : 'Problems fixed' , but then the problems are still there. I can click the Fix button multiple times.

So , please. Experts help me please.

Hello all , my new lappie , the HP Pavilion DV 2922TX is making problems. The touch button isnt responding , making it difficult for me to lower/higher the volume , mute , go to 'QuickPlay' forward vids and so on. Help please? What should I do?
