I'm currently using Namecheap and so far I've been suggesting it as the cheapest (?) one out there. Haven't keep myself up to date with the latest prices on the net though, so I'm hoping if you guys could fill me in on better and cheaper alternatives.

Its been 2 years since I last used Kaspersky. Uninstalling Kaspersky did not remove ADS tags from the files.

Does Kaspersky still attach ADS tags to all files now?

It has been said one of the main problems facing Windows users are most of them run as Administrator. So the OS is prone to malwares which can penetrate and execute freely in full administrative priviledge.

Unfortunately, I am currently running Knoppix (with toram extension) on a 512MB RAM machine and my CD is being frequently accessed. It is far from my expectations for responsiveness but it ran just alright I suppose.

Anyone tried Knoppix (toram) on a 1GB (or more) RAM machine? If it is a huge improvement, I wouldn't mind adding more RAM.

Streamyx on Knoppix or Slax

I want to use Live-CD Linux for some of my online activities. Apart from browsing and some simple word and spreadsheet work, everything else does not really matter.

I have burned copies of Knoppix and Slax. Help on any of these OS's to setup a Streamyx connection is appreciated.
