WMP 12 alternative that resemble WMP 11?

I don't know about others, but I have this habit of using different players for videos and songs. For video media player, VLC player has always been my choice and still is, thanks its versatility with different formats. I used to having windows media player for my mp3 media player of choice, not that it was great, I know how unpopular it was, but I used to it anyway since I've using it all these while and it was preinstalled by default. That is, up to Windows Media Player 11. Upon formatting my laptop to Windows 7, I was having a culture shock during the massive change of its intertace. In now playing mode, it was in streaks in blue instead of my prefered sleek black back in the previous version. ( its bar at the bottom with the play/pause, stop button if you still don't know what I was talking about) It did change to that sleek black in the now playing mode though. I know that I could change its skin if I don't like the looks of it but there are much more than that. First of all, the removal of now playing tab which happens to be a favourite feature of mine. Switching between the library and now playing mode has always been so easy, now I have to learn to use its shortcut key for different viewing mode (CTRL 1,2,3 etc) for the same thing. And I couldn't even have the now playing playlist on the now playing mode that allows me to see the songs?!!! This is truly disappointing. What really gets to my nerve was that I just found out that the Advanced Tab Editor is also removed. Now that's really a turned off. I have a huge collections of mp3 files and I would like to edit its Artist, lyrics at one go. etc. Streaming lyrics are no good when you are disconnected from the internet. Besides, a lot of my musics files are non-mainstreamed and its quite rare to find its lyrics.

I stuck with it because it had provided me the features that I want. Now it doesn't anymore.

I've got myself a Kuwo player and its great with its searching song feature and automatic lyrics synching , as long as I'm connected to the net, and as long as I'm listening to maintstream popular songs that everyone listen to. But I was unable to play song that is not available in its database. Note that the mp3 is in downloaded from somewhere and is in my music folder though.

But what I'm looking for right now is the mp3 music player that allows me to alter the files information, which is able to display my customized lyrics and one that works perfectly well offline. One that allows me to play the music collection of mine. Any recommendations?

Non Unicode Programme Language Setting

So I've just installed Windows 7 and am installing all the softwares that I need. I don't quite favour the changes made on the latest version of the built in Windows Media Player, hence I found an nice alternative to my liking, which is a Chinese Software, kuwo. Its Chinese-word interface became gibberish symbols that are unreadable by default but it is solved by changing the Language for Non Unicode Program to Chinese. The Chinese character became reader but I think it has change the language of certain program as well. I first notice this change when updating Adobe Flash Player and now the the Intel driver is using Chinese as well. Is there a way to change it back to English without undo-ing the change on Chinese-based program? Is there a way to like, specify the language for them, somehow? I don't understand Chinese that well, in terms of the tech terms used in the settings.

Would appreciate if anyone has the solution. Many thanks in advance.
