My blisters experience with Dr. Cardxx shoes 😕

I recently bought a new pair from Dr. C, and unfortunately, it hasn't been the best experience. On the very first day of wearing them (with my usual low ankle socks), I ended up with a painful blister. I normally wear this kind of sock with similar shoe styles and don’t usually have this issue, so it was a letdown.

To add to that, less than 10 days in and I’m already seeing some wear on the insole, which honestly makes me question the quality.

Before I pass these shoes on to someone else, does anyone have tips for avoiding blisters—aside from switching to high socks? Would appreciate any advice!

I went to the Mamak for dinner and sadly, I saw two guys smoking. I told them not to smoke because there were many kids around. One of them had the nerve to ask me if I knew his friend. Why would I need to know his friend? He then started giving me an angry look, but I didn't care as long as I could stop them from smoking during dinner time.

The Axiata Cup is the ASEAN Men’s Team Championship. The event field will include teams from the following nations: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines with Malaysia and Indonesia fielding two teams each. The championship will be sanctioned by the Badminton Asian Confederation (BAC) and the Badminton World Federation (BWF), and organized by Total Sports Asia (TSA). The Axiata Cup will capitalise on the popularity of National Team competitions such as Thomas Cup and the Sudirman Cup. The Axiata Cup uses a 3-match format including 2 singles and 1 doubles match per tie which give more teams an opportunity to win (as team depth is not required as it is with Thomas Cup). Each team consists of 6 players as the coach may elect to replace singles/doubles players from day to day (there are back-up players) Teams may also field up 2 foreign parties each – this means that even lower ranked teams can recruit world’s top talent to boost their chances against the top teams!

TM will be having a launch to commemorate their 5 year sponsorship deal with MU. The launch is held at 1 Utama, on the 31st July 2010. Our guest of honour is living Legend – Bryan Robson who will give a speech and sign some autographs. Please, feel free to stop by and join us. The more the merrier.

In addition to the launch, a mini road show is organized from the 28th July to the 1st August 2010 at the same spot. Activities such as TM Fanatic Kick Challenge, foosball, PS3 and the main highlight – the Old Trafford 100 years Exhibition. Little pieces of MU history is on loan to us to be exhibited ie: Shay Brennan, Bryan Robson and Rio Ferdinand’s shirt and Boots, Medal from their win as Premier League Champions in 1993-94, Matchball from 2010 Carling Cup Final and a few others. The Opus will also be on display and for those who are unfamiliar; it’s a large book on the history of Old Trafford.
