looking for next upgrade for my MBP, used unit

Hey gais, im looking for next MBP upgrade to replace my decent current mbp, current is mbp 15" mid 2012 i7, 2.3ghz, memory 4g 1600mhz DDR3 with intel hd graphics 4000 1536 mb

As this current its reaching 9yo.

current usage more on apps development, video editing, adobe software + sketch up and autocad.
thinking to upgrade but wanted to know 3rd opinion, should i upgrade the spec as this mbp is upgradeable or with that upgrade cost i can bought a good secondhand at the market? and what mbp suitable for me if im looking for used decent model? please suggest least problem model to me..just throw the model and i will work for the budget (but not that high lorr)

why im not upgrade my current? well its still belong to company and i need another one for my personal project..if im upgrading this mbp, i still can claim this but im seriously looking for another one as will be using it more on personal project..

and can u guys suggest to me a good display screen to add on as second display? budget for this is 1.2k and can suit for my current mbp.
