Any alternative routes using public transport (etc bus or railway services) can get me from Damansara Perdana till Tun Sambanthan Monorail and vice versa, (not recommended cabs/taxi's all the way, too exp). . Sry, not local here. Hope you guys can list the routes here.

I knew they're plenty of these threads around the forum. I need help and suggestions urgently as I'm moving in into Brickfield next week. I'm unsure which ISP to choose as myself is not a local around KL and Selangor area. Below are my following criterias:

- No fixed line required when installing
- Budget: RM 100 and below
- No fair usage policy if possible
- Heavy user: Goes youtube most of the time and download songs and movies [No torrent/p2p]
- Min download speed: 512kbps
- Use for 12 months only
- Good speed/reception in Bricksfield
- Wireless broadband

*Updated: - Mobility or not it doesn't matter, I just need a good signal/reception for my hostel room.

I am trying to get the width and the height of the screen for Dell Vostro 1400 laptop. I got the width from internet, which is about 14.1 inches. Can't find the height after searching in internet. Have tried to ask my friend and he said 3.1 cm. WTF? . Impossible answer.

So owners of Dell Vostro 1400, if you wouldn't mind, would you help me to get the height measurement for Dell Vostro 1400 screen? All you need to do is get a ruler and just measure. It can be in cm or inches.

I am not originally from KL. But I have chose which airlines to KL. Any suggestions on which airlines has a great satisfactory in overall from KL to Singapore? I know driving/or going to Singapore by taxi is way much more easier and cheaper. But my mum doesn't wan't long hours on car.

Ok, next year will be my SPM year. So in this 1 month plus school holidays, I am finding a pathway for myself after SPM. If I can found one now, I don't have to worry when I am sitting for SPM. So far, most of my friends know what are they going to do when they are grown up, pharmacist, lawyer, accountant, architect, businessman, hotel manager, car designer and etc. It seems like I am one of them who are felt lost right now. Really dunno, what field I am going to involve. To save my time searching it, I have shortlisted the fields I would not get into.

Fields I would not get involve (So far, no interest) It was a long list. There's more!!

Hi. I am from Borneo (anywhere you can guess) =D . Obviously, COD can't be made in Borneo. I am new involving in trading stuffs and I have read lots of good deals and feedbacks and cases regarding kena conned in the forum. And ofcourse, I wouldn't want to be one of the victim who get into the trap. Yet, I am interested in some items to buy as well.

So my question is, as a buyer, how much info can you get from the seller such as:

Posts (Verify senior member or new member)
and what additional information shld I obtain?

If the person I deal requires me to bank-in into the account of a registered company in Malaysia which run for 40 yrs above and registered in matrade.gov.my . Is there any chances she/he can conned me? Coz, I still can't find any relation between this dealer with the company eventhough she/he claims to be the worker of the company. Any extra item that I should take extra notice of during the transaction and after kena conned(just incase)?

I know it's something dumb. But I am trying to be extra cautious. As I am so sad and disappointed on the victims who kena conned by all the bad people . I don't want anyone to be the next victim as well. As a buyer and a consumer, I have the rights to ask and I am not afraid to ask. Better safe before sorry.

To the dealer/seller who think I am suspicious of, it's not wrong yet not annoying for me to ask lots of questions from you. You wont feel bad as long as you have no motive to cheat or con any consumers.

SAM/Ausmat intakes vs NS

At this moment, I have chosen to pursue either SAM/AUSMAT(preferable) or A-Levels(if there's really no other choice) after SPM. AFAIK, SAM and Ausmat intakes are on Jan and March for express intake. Just incase I am in such situation such as if I am chosen for NS, for example, 2nd batch and 3rd batch session. Any solution can be taken to get back into SAM and Ausmat on time while managed to finish NS as well?

Feel free to write your opinions or solutions. . Kinda stuck, have to prepare plan B, but can't think of anything yet.
