Driver's License Renewal & Expiration Fine

So I just found out recently that you can no longer renew your driver's license online. The problem is I'm currently overseas and won't be able to travel back to Malaysia for a long time to be able to personally show up at JPJ to renew my license. so by the time I'm back in Malaysia, I would have to either pay a heavy fine or retake the driver's test.

I'm out of the loop with regards to what the protocols are these days so, my questions are these:
1) Is it possible to have someone else show up at the JPJ to renew my license?
2) Would JPJ make an exception for my situation i.e. not being able to show up personally?
3) Is there an option to take the test with automatic transmission? (I know, I'm a noob )

hi fellow forumers, so i've been in overseas for years and am craving Wang Wang Ricecracker very much but i saw news that they were contaminated with bacteria like E.coli. I'm wondering is it safe to consume it now? has there been news of its passing as safe from the food safety regulation department?

Drawing Tutorial

Hi Arts & Designs,

I was thinking of continuing with my effort in honing my drawing skill. Do any of you know and would recommend me one or more tutorial that is complete and great.

I would like to focus on drawing first before moving on to coloring or skipping to coloring with a computer program but if you have coloring, I would gladly accept the recommendation.

So far, the skills that I could use some sharpening are (not in any order of importance):

-Anatomy
-Folding/Crumpling of Outfit
-Perspective & Angle

Just pretend I'm a newbie in drawing and have a "talent" in drawing that has never been nurtured before

I have a suggestion to make. Why don't Lowyat have a NSFW (not safe for work) label/tag for threads in which the thread starters have posted something, lets say, pictures that convey nudity, semi-nudity or sex?

That way, users who wish to click into these kind of thread will feel "safe" when they do that in the public.

Neurons and Grey & White Matter

How is neurons positioned in the brain?
Is it with cell bodies on the surface (grey matter) and axon within (white matter)?

and if so, How long is one single strain of neuron in the brain?

It seems from this picture in this link White & Grey Matter that the cell bodies and dendrite is in the grey matter and its axon span along the white matter

so, how is the information pass around in the brain?
is it from dendrites of a neuron to dendrites of another neuron directly across the grey matter?
or is it from dendrite of a neuron to its cell body, then to the axon (from the white matter down to the grey matter)?

I've also read that white matter has glial cells and myelinated axon. Does Myelinated Axon not have Cell bodies?

I really hope someone who's good with neuroscience would shine some light on this matter for me. Many thanks !

TestDisk for HDD

Hi, Does anyone know how to access HardDisk using this software called TestDisk?
I couldnt seem to find an option that allows me to just access my harddisk (without recovering or modifying the data)

So i was transferring data from my laptop to my external harddisk when suddenly my HDD disconnected from my laptop. then i pull out the USB and plug in again but theres a problem

although my HDD icon appeared in "My Computer" there's no "space usage & space left" bar. and when i click on it, it told me to format!!! of course i didnt click yes. i waited a while more and this appeared

"Location is not available, I:\ is not accesible, Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

what does this mean?
what should i do?

Removing Virus Creates Another Problem

Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but apparently, my external harddisk has been infected with virus. In order to clear this virus i have to delete a file name RECYCLER\e5188982.exe. But when this file is deleted some folder in the external harddisk cannot be opened. Meaning if i remove the virus, the file necessary to open the folders in my harddrive will be removed as well. What should i do? please advise

oh by the way. i notice my folder file seem to became shortcuts after being infected with virus.
