Bayan Villa - Seri Kembangan ISP issue

Hi, I just got my key today and will be moving in to my Bayan Villa home very soon.

Would like to ask around, any neighbors from Bayan Villa or forumers staying around this area.. how is the Streamyx performance?
My daily work relies very much in internet communications... so would like to check and get some sharings.

I heard from the property agents that signal base ISP like P1 and Maxis is very weak within that area... and Unifi coverage haven't reach this area yet ...
Is this true?

Hi all,
I'm currently in searching of my own stay. Found Bayan Villa and went to the showroom yesterday.
Love the holiday villa look and feel.

But from my research I found that the price for 3+1 unit had rise from around RM240000 to the current RM360000+-. And the main attraction - club house is still missing from the location.

Would like to hear some sharing from the current Bayan Villa residents... hows the overall quality of the building so far? Any complains?

Please share and help me decide whether or not to make my purchase...

Streamyx User In Mentari Court

Streamyx users staying in Mentari Court. Are you facing any problem with your Streamyx?
My case is it takes me at least half to 1 hour to connect everytime I restart the modem.

Lately the problem gone even worst... last week suddently got disconnected, try restart but wait for at least 12 hours but no luck. Called TM, reset my port, made a report, wait another 10-12 hours then manage to connect back.
Then this Tue same thing happens again, but this time after the complain and wait... my connection only remains for around 8 hours, that's it.. now totally dead again
(am using friend's maxis broadband to post this message)

Hi, can anybody please help me up? I want to share up the internet connection among my pc and laptop.
I'm using a ZTE ZXDSL831 modem with the Streamyx 1.0M connection.

Can anyone please guide me on how to do the setup? I'd tried numerous times to setup according to the installation guide but all turns out to be not working. I need to know which type of internet connection of router that I should choose and how to setup the IPs in both my pc and notebook.
