I was mandated by my boss to handle my company networking. one of my responsibility is to set only certain allowed computers can access to internet but all computers must in the networking and able to do files sharing.

At 1st i tot this is just an easy job. What i need to do is just get the allowed computer’s MAC addresses, then in the modem, I just enable only the listed MAC addresses can access to internet. So I tot this should be fine already.

But after few days, I realize one of my colleague (junior staff) which his computer is not listed in the allowed list is using internet. I’m suspecting he changes his computer MAC address to allowed MAC address. nvm, I get his computer ip address and in the modem, I set to block his ip address again. But the surprising and disappointing thing is, he still able to use internet. I’m suspecting he changes his MAC address and ip address. I tried before, I know with changing these 2 addresses, he is able to access to internet. Due to this matter, my boss was not so happy about my performance and keeps pressing me to settle this.

My question is, apart from changing MAC address and ip address, any other ways he did to make him able to access to internet? And any other ways I could do to block him from using internet?

I would really appreciate if someone could help or provide me some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

friendster fan profile

i have created a online shop recently and hope to like other peoples register in friendster then converted it to friendster fan profile. so that i can add as many fans as i can to promote my online shop.

i have fulfilled their requirement they mentioned, and i have added a lots of other things when apply, but all rejected. i tried many many times already. but all ended up with getting the message below..

i tried to email to fanprofiles@friendster.com to ask for review and check what are the things i miss out when i submit my application. but they never reply, never!

up to now only 1 thing i can suspect i missed out when i submit my application. there is no friend in my account when i submit. but they never mention this in their basic requirement.

anyone had successfully convert your friendster normal account to friendster fan profile? any tricks to get it converted? please share with me or give me some hints please.

how google adsense detect invalid click?

to be frank, sometimes i click my google ad in my blog, and my earning was keep increasing. until yesterday, my google adsense account get banned due to invalid clicks. normally i click it from different places and computers, but how google know it were invalid click? apart from appeal, anything else i should do now?

please open my attachment, just delete any text appeared and u will see the deleted cell become dark color.
if u type in something, it will back to normal.

is my router setting problem?

hi all, i have just subscripted streamyx combo RM90/month package.

i'm using tm provided modem (Riger DB102) and router (D-Link DIR300 wireless router) to share the internet connection.

my problem is....

when connect modem to my pc directly, internet --> ok
when connect modem to router to 1 pc only, internet --> ok
but when connect modem to router to 2 pc, internet --> only can use few minutes then will disconnect. this happen repeatedly.

for your information, i'm not using auto connect to connect to internet.

anyone know what is the problems and how to fix it?

company without promotion opportunities

As the title shown, my company has no promotion opportunities. i work for that company about 5 years already, but up to now no any signs want to promote me. the boss do almost all the important things, and not giving chance to other staffs to do. i just do the same things for 5 years. has to mention here, i'm one of the pioneer there. i contribute a lots to company before. and the boss also admit is me help him to built up that company. currently that company only got 1 working boss, the rest is low level staffs like me, no manager in that company.
but 1 thing good about this company is they got yearly salary adjustment. and their bonus given also not bad.

ok now, your opinion needed.

i should leave that company or to stay.

- salary = RM2800 (inclusive of fixed allowance), i have to pay my car maintainance
and petrol
- position = designer
- job function = sit in office and do designing
- time to reach office = 15 minutes
- working hour = 8.30a.m to 6p.m (alternative on saturday)
- boss behavior = nice, and very kind boss(never scold his staffs)
- promotion opportunities = don't know
- work pressure = many works to do and mostly required it urgently (before that i got insomnia for about 2 months due to pressure)

- time work for company = just got the offer, company established very long ago
- steel product manufacturer
- multinational company
- salary = RM4400 (inclusive of fixed allowance), car maintainance and petrol paid by

- position = sales engineer
- job function = running outside to promote our product
- time to reach office = 40 minutes
- working hour = 8.00a.m to 5p.m, actual working hour should be longer then that (saturday off)
- boss behavior = don't know
- promotion opportunities = better
- work pressure = i have to hit the sales target & have to always travel

think of buying this unit soon with RM3760. is recommendated by my fren.
but i'm noob to laptop, can anyone give me more detail about this unit?
i'm going to use it for autocad drafting in 2D and light 3D. can this unit perform such job?
