hi all,

like to ask brother and sister here in lyn...i am an IT exec earning about Rm6k a month. been in the IT industry about 10 years. everytime i change company, it will be a higher position and of course better salary. currently i am out of job as my contract expired. i got to know there is another opening at another company which i think if i apply i will have high chance in getting it as the job requirements are very specific and only a few people in my industry able to fit it. if i do get the job, it will be the highest salary i will get about Rm20k a month.
now my issue here is that, since few years ago, i started to hate my job as my career progresses higher into management. i felt there is no more 'soul' among my co-workers and everyone will do 'anything' to keep their job. not sure if it is because most people here are quite well paid. for me, i am a person not paying very deep emphasize on money but on people's relationship and happiness. i am seriously considering about doing a low-paying job about Rm1-2k monthly if its makes me happy. i am not here to troll, but this is really how i feel. we only live once, what if i accumulate so much wealth but i am not happy? i could die any moment and i do not want to regret doing something i am not happy about. i'd like to ask you brother and sister, am i choosing a right move in life? or should i continue doing something i hate but the rewards are 10-20 times more? what do you think? thank you for your time. cheers

im using the 700mk panasonic 32" LCD..u know when i watch movies (dvd or blu-ray) when dark scenes changes to bright scenes (or vice-versa), i can see the transition is very slow..is this normal ?
