Tamron 70-300mm Di LD Macro Lens

Currently I have the Nkon D90 with 18-105mm kit lens and would like to extend the zoom. Lately shopping around and found this budget Tamron 70-300mm lens and considering of getting it. Before the purchase, would like to hear comments and advise from you guys who may have experinced with this lens.

HP Mini 5102 Noisy Fan

The cpu fan of my new HP Mini 5102 somehow keep on running immediately after entering into Windows 7 Starter. Has unchecked the option in bios to disable the fan when on AC power, but still the same. When in BIOS mode, the fan is not spinning.

Any of you encounter the same? Is this normal?
