I donno this is good to ask but, need some opinion on this..
Is it worth it to change my Logitech X-540 (currently using) to the claim best 2.1 speaker, the Corsair SP2500??

I know its diff between 2.1 and 5.1 setup, but those are so diff in terms of performance like the 232W of RMS compare with 140RMS.. haha

Add infos, i'm more on gaming, music and sometimes watch movies..

(Need Help) Mobo drivers for win 7

Helo all!

As the title stated there, ive got prob with this mobo.. ive like to my help my fren to build his pc, but the case is i found that the mobo are taken from a HP Pavillion pc. The model code is MS 7174 Ver 1.
My just interested to use win 7 for the OS, and the prob is i cant even find any drivers for this type of mobo that support Win 7..

Have already install Win 7 on it, seems fine but run with basic drivers which comes within windows system. But the graphics, sounds and other components seems to be disabled..
So, is there any solution for this matter? Anyone have a tip to share?

Helo guys n gals..

On behave of my fren.. his compaq's has some prob i guess, and i cant identify what the cause of it..
It is when he boot up the notebook, a beeping sound came out on the post screen BUT its gone right after the windows take over... (beeping almost more than 50x)

Ive try swapping the ram port still didnt solve it, replacing hdd also not do it..

In windows its seems the notebook is stable.. do some checking on the ram also got no prob at all.. but the annoying beeping sound on the post screen still persist..

Did some research on the net but seems got no best solving answers.. hope any1 here could share the results.

By the time this thread i created, theres some review about this mobo but no yet review on its true potential, but by the look of its design, i may say, this next TUF series mobo from Asus sure mean business guy!! Cooling is a serious for this board... And there is an article wrote on some local mags about this mobo.. trying to share the sneak peak of this mobo pics here..

I guess those overclocker out there should consider this board...

Its what they called Shunt Design... i think this is the first board on this world using this kind of mobo cooler..

Look at the size of that cooler.. they called it the Tactical Vest.. this is very interesting guys!!!

The cooler should work like this.. the Tactical Vest preventing heat comes from other part like the Gpu to disturb the board functionality.. very2 nice idea indeed..

Helo all..

May i ask some Q regarding on the mobo above..

I have a prob.. donno if any1 here use the same model counter same probs and have the right solution for it..

The prob is theres NO POST at the screen even the power is available.. after some hours tackling the prob like took all the components ( fans, HDD's, OP Drive's, GPU, sound card..) still no post.. And then i try using just one stick of ram at each ram slot.. i found that, tested at all 3 blue slot got no post, but at all white slot the sys manage to boot up normally.. also tried 3 rams at the blue slot also cannot post, but manage to post when plug to all white slots.. (still stable now)

So, is there any chance that i can counter this prob??
Hope some1 here can give some opinion or best solution on this matter.. hope dont have to send this board for warranty.. (my GTX480 is also under RMA.. once again, gigabyte)

Helo guys.. and gals..

Need to ask.. im new with Win7 cos i just installed it... its Win7 Ultimate x64 Build 7600.

My prob is, i got 2x 8800gt and found that i couldn't enable my Sli function.. the weird thing is, my Nvidia Control Panel is NOT there or anywhere..

And before that.. i just updated my GPU driver to the latest ver. 195.62.. installing had some issue saying that the driver is not recognize by the window.. might be its the cause of no Nvidia Control Panel at my startup sys?

Or do i need to get an older ver of Gpu driver??

Firstly apologize if there is a thread bout this mobo before this..

My prob is that i cant OC my proc.. even a bit..
Done searching at google but seems the site cant help a lot..
So if someone here can help me what is the prob is, really im appreciate it..
Ive used to OC my proc w my late P5N-e SLi and can reach 3.2ghz max.. but can't w this mobo...even when using AI OC in bios it didnt work at all..

A question: Can i hav an OS Xp and Vista on my current system which means, now im using Xp Serv Pack2, and i buy another 2nd HDD n then install a Vista Os on it..
So, at any time if i want to use vista, i simply go in bios, swicth to the 2nd Hdd to make it boot from it using the Vista Os..
Can it be done?
