[WTA] Ubuntu Partition Management

Hi there..

Im just use ubuntu for 2 weeks..
I had install this OS after format the Windows partition(clean install)..
But my problem is, i cant find the way to merge/resize certain unallocated partition.
Below is my screenshot for reference..

So, my question is:

1. Is it anyway to merge this partition?

2. I got notification that told me my linux partition have 1.3Gb left. How can I resize the ubuntu partition?

[WTA] Google not index my blogger static pages

Hi there..

I notice this problem when I try to search by title of my blogger static pages at google yesterday.
But the results are nothing relate to my page.
I use google webmaster tool to handle my blog traffic.
I try to check my sitemap if the page was indexed by google or not.
Seems like the sitemap just refer all to my blog post, not the pages.

As the blogger user, I am not able to edit the sitemap..
Also the robot text file..

So any options to let google index my static page?

Hi there..

Sorry if my topic title not to clear..

But if im not mistake, the cable that connect between dish and decoder called coaxial rigth?

I have two set of this cable in my home..complete with the head..

I plan to extend the cable by combine them..

But is it possible? Are the connectors exist? Any forumers sell them? Where can i find it?

[WTA] Suddenly cannot browse websites

Hi there..

I dont know my problem is relate to networking or software.

But it still relate both of them..

I am using chrome as the default internet browser.

Lately, i always got "disconnected" but my modem still connect..

It's prove the modem still have cnnection when i try to resume my downloading, then it download normally..

But i still cant browse, also trying IE and firefox.. but the same result..

When this problem comes, i need to restart my pc and modem..huh..

Hi there..

Just want to ask around here..

This is my 1st time see this thing..

I check my accaount balance by using the online banking..

So shock because it had deducted about RM8..

I check the account history..

then it show the RM8 is deducted for ATM CARD AUTOCHARGES.

Is it mean a thing like ATM CARD SERVICE that we need to pay annually?

Hi there..

About two month ago, i got problem with my home streamyx that always disconnected.

It fixed after some replacement at the pole.

At that time, my download speed is about average 70-80KBs from mediafire n megaupload

But about a week ago, it started reduce to average 50-60KBs.

I check my snr, datarate, for downstream n upstream is nothing change.

Test my speed at tm speedometer n speedtest.net. The speed also not change.

So, need to know from any streamyx 512kbs user.

Whats ur average speed download at mediafire n megaupload?

Please share with me so i can know whats the real problem..

Hi there..

I really need to know maybe one of you experienced this situation..
I plan to apply Civil Engineering at UKM and UPM for july intake..

before that i refered the min req of the course frm both uni..
for UKM need CGPA min-3.00 and UPM min-3.33
for ur information i apply under diploma category..

The problem is
my qualification only fullfill the UKM min requirement n not UPM..

My question is..

1. Is it any chance my application will go through UPM for consideration?

2. Is it need to remove the course/uni(UPM-civil engineering) from my list then choose others that fullfill the min requirement

Hi there..

i dont think i go to the right place talking about dis..
i always going to others place that i never reach before..

so that, by doing some check at google maps..
i can trace the route to the place
but problems come when i reach to the place..
i lost..totally lost..make me pusing around the town for times...
it's really tired..

im just think to purchase a gps with small budget..very small..
just as the map on my hand..

is it any gadget have google maps integrated?
or
cheap gps maybe?

Hi there..

just asking here maybe same one had use same phone..CSL Blueberry-E

bought mine yesterday for my 2nd phone..

it hav basic function and looking good..

but after 24hrs i noticed i cant delete all message come from hotlink such from 28800;etc

the button "delete" is blur, inactive..

as you know there are a lot messages frm them lately..

this situation need me to run delete all inbox to delete those messages..

but inbox also content message that i dont want to delete yet..

maybe anyone hav tips or tricks to overcome dis problem...

Hi there..

Starting frm 4th Jan, UPU form can be filled for university intake July '10..

I have a doubt in filling the form..

I'd done wit all my courses selection..

BUT

do i need to click yes for another offer?

maybe by click yes then i still HAVE chance to enter the university by diff courses..

and MAYBE the system trick me by jump away from my selection and campak me to other courses..

really kompius to YES or NOT..maybe someone may guide me..

Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes, donno how many but i'd lodge report twice n technician also come to my house twice..

Personal equipment
Modem: Billion Bipac
Router: No
Firewall used: No

Problem details

1. The last done by the technician is rewiring the black cable(from the tiang to my house) then direct connect to phone jack in my room(near to tiang). So that no grey wire anymore.

2. After testing my datarate keep stable for downstream is 1536 then upstream is 512. But my SNR still keep under 7 then still create the frequently disconnection.

My Question..

1. I change cable already but the problem still the same, what the best way to fix it?

2. Am i need to RESET my modem? i heard about the reset but donno the purpose..

3. Tmorrow maybe the TMman will call me to ask my problem solved or not, am i need to respon NO?

Hi there..

After have some problem with my connection, the tm technician comes to my house..

After some test with the "big machine" at his hand, accompany by me..

he said that i have bad phone jack, then change it, test again and it is superb..the reading increase and stable..

but to connect from my modem to the splitter, i have 7m long RJ11..

test from my room show the reading is up and down..it down about half the 1st reading(after several test)..

sorry..im not memorize the up reading..

so, the technician said the wire is bad too..it cause the disconnect thing..

my question is how to minize the RJ11 wire or any others suggestion??

First occurence of problem: My dsl light always blink for long time 36hrs before

Problem frequency: always disconnected then if connected the line too slow..very2 slow..

Problem description: It happen after raining. There are raining before but no problem occur with my connection

Hi there..

I feel lazy to call customer support to get this answer..

but i want to check out answer here..

i'm currently using Streamyx package 512mb limited to 60hrs..

And it had pass the contract period( 2 years with modem)..

I want to upgrade to 512mb to the unlimited one..

is it any period that will block me to downgrade back after i upgrade my package?
