hi guys, i been working in telco line for 5 years as telco engineer in yearly contract basis. i have been searching for job for almost 1 year. and recently i got an job offer as pre sales engineer. but the line is in IT line. Honestly im kind of happy that i got offer the job, but at the same time, the salary that i got was less than my current salary. which is about rm 600 before confirmation. my current company are full of politics which we have different team. And i may be losing my current job since i had transfer to another department after i change project for about 3 month. My ex colleague got try to recommend job for me but at the same time, i know that they talking bad about me in the whats app gossip group as i have 1 very good friend telling about this.
There's no right or wrong for them to talk bad about me , but i just feel kind of disappointed once i left the whats group, they start bashing about me. Hence now back to my new job offer, the position is a pre sales engineer, They are doing IT securities system, hence i dont have such experience but they expect me to be fast learning, which is really a challenge for me. 1 thing i like about this boss is he say his company can survive during this pandemic as he say his financial are strong enough to maintain.

My question is, is this really a suitable timing for me to change my current working life? As i have 0 experience in sales.

Update: I have accept the new offer, but still waiting the offer letter.. but at the same time, i been transfer to another new project again.. while still waiting my offer letter, i need to learn for new project knownledge..

laptop screen is off but cpu and fan is running

hi guys

it was my first time post this question here. im using gaming laptop and during this few week, i notice when i leave my laptop overnight.. the screen will turn off as usual but it wont turn back on even i press any of my keyboard. but the Fan and keyboard light still on. I try use remote to access but its indicate that my laptop is off. have any one can try help me to solve this issue??
Im using Aftert shock forge 15 laptop. thanks very much.

As per topic, anyone hear this company before??how does the benefit there and the working style. im currently working in telco base job as engineer... but im applying this job as sales engineer. Not sure is a good move or stupid move. but i cant see my future in my current field anymore, plus im a contract staff and every end of year i need to worry whether is my job is renewable or not.

Signing S&P agreement and HOC program

Hi all,

as per topic, i found out a lot of Info about HOC program in this forum, and i need some enquiry, im a first home buyer and plan to sign my S&P this coming weekend, but before this, i had found out that HOC program which under our gov for the first home buyer that can waive the stamp duty and MOT for first time home buyer had a lot of issue.

My question is :
i.) i found out that under the HOC campaign, S&P must state that the price which is after 10% discount, but my developer say S&P will be on actual price. So my question is, whether can i reject and not to sign the S&P if they not changing my S&P price which is after discount?

ii.)i had call the REHDA which is the agent that launch this program and confirm that the S&P must be 10% after discount, so can i ask the developer to clarify this? as i feel my agent wan to do my sales and he doesnt seems wan to help me to clarify for this.

iii.) as now, no developer had participate this program yet, those that join the MAPEX program which held at KLCC last few week also not really register this campaign yet this is wat the REDHA staff told me. what shall i do for seek for more info about this HOC program ya ??

Small update from me:

The project that i buy finally in register under HOC program already.
And Certificate had out from Rehda to developer, but till now, i still waiting for refund for My loan stamp duty.

hi guys,

im using mbp mid 2012 for almost 2 year, and i had upgrade my main hdd to ssd, and currently had switch my optical drive become my 2nd partition of my hdd. Want to ask you guys some small opinion, im rarely use my mbp ever since im start my career as telco engineer. And recently i decide to use this mbp as my work purpose laptop.

i decide to change my 2nd hdd to ssd. and want to install windows in my mbp as i know some of the software that i use not support in mac.

will it be possible for me to install windows in my 2nd ssd hard disc??as i google some info about partition in main ssd will reduce the life span . i check some of the website back mostly say have to take out the main optical drive and plug the 2nd partition ssd to my main port and install the windows as normal.

if using boot camp to install windows, will it only can be done in main ssd ? and cant be done in my 2nd partition ssd?

latest update: after i try install its not succesful, but i try use EIF partition and its work, but after the installation done, my macbook keep restart already when i start power on my laptop. not sure why?

I'm currently 29 years old. want to ask, im just get my health report from path lab. I had diagnose high cholesterol about 8.5(which is very high compare to normal rate) and also uric acid.Luckily my glucose level are still normal.
Want to ask whether if with my condition. am i able to reduce my cholesterol without taking medicine? and can i start with my diet life immediately? Im over BMI as well. can i start with my gym life?

air con compressor change places

hi guys

wan to ask how much will be the cost for change the compressor placement from higher area to bottom. as my compressor had places at the center of my room and my housemate room and he always complain about my compressor making noise and cant sleep well.

p/s: this aircond had install before i rent the room.

i wish to change my compressor from from top to bottom the length was about 4m high. anyway im staying landed house. how much will it cost normally ?
as those contractor that i ask mostly charge rm200 which i feel a bit expensive for me. or you guys have recommended contractor? im staying sunway area. thanks for the help.

hi guys

i have a crush on girl for about a month ago. she's work at my office but different department. We always have chance to have lunch tgt. just last few day ago, when i msg, she was in a bad mood. And had ask me some advice about personal matter. So i try ask her to go for a yamcha session. and guess what, its work. Its just between me and her, no 3rd party involve. And she say she's still single haven find a right one yet.

during the session, she had told me can ask her anything about herself. And she also had told me about how she think about me. She personally think im a nice guy, but just the way i talk to her a bit harsh. i got share with her about my past with ex, and she got ask me whether im now still haven let go the feeling or not since its like 5 years ago matter.
Furthemore, she know that i have a lot of girl's friend more than guys as she know im good in social. She had ask me about what type of girl i like, of coz i didnt
direct told her that i like her,i just desribe to her what kind of girl like, and she was at first though my requirement for GF are quite high.

During the whole conversation, we had chat untill the shop close, i try to ask her whether want to have second round session or not, She direct say yes. Yet we both have a great talk untill 2am ++ at second round shop. when i send her back to her car, i got ask her whether shall we have second chance again to have a chit chat?and she just say see how and a smile.
latest updated: i had just confess to her for the last date, and she feel shock and doesnt seems believe it and always though i just treat her as friend, and she didnt say she doenst like me or telling me that we both doenst even have chance to be tgt. i feel so sad that time when i tell her as i afraid i will get reject by her. i recently got just keep chating with her on phone everynight, shes doenst seems reject i call her. im now start to feel she's have much more interesting stuff since we start to have longer conversation now.

updated on 21/12/2016: had try to hold her hand while crossing the road, she got a bit dont like got push away my hand and luckily she didnt slap me// hahha. been dating her out may be around 2 week once and had chat with her for almost every night now. for last week , since malaysia have 4 day continuous public holiday and i had manage to date her out. One funny thing happened during that day was when i was on phone call with her during dinner time, her mom was beside and had listen for our conversation when i ask her did her mom got cook dinner for he, and she say no. Guess whats, her mom say " is he date you go dinner ? go eat with him". than she was like duh.. ok la. than ask me where we going to have our dinner date than. some time i would tell her im miss her when she going back from office, and she tend not to believe as she though im missing other more than her. when i tell her im really like her, and she always though im not serious.
For last few day, i been doing something silly, that time my mood was not really happy and i call and chat with her. she though tat i had dinner date with other girl and call but which actually im having my dinner alone. that time i cant control my voice and raise up, and she like not really happy say if u not happy please close the call. that time i was realize i had make a mistake for releasing my temper to her, and keep on apologize to her. luckily she forgive me. haizz.. but my heart keep thinking if she doesnt have feeling on me, why she so care if i suddenly raise my voice to defend myself for having my dinner alone.

question to the girl : is she not feel secure with me that why she keep not believe what my feeling toward her?

hey guys,

for the past few week, my company had came in one new nice and pretty girls staff. Her position are much higher than me a lot which at first i feel " nah this girl look so pretty, should have bf or either married d". Up untill when i start my conversation with her. Try to make her laugh, but only once. Was about to ask her why she always eat alone when she's join my company not long ago. Eventually, she reply me that she always eat alone. Was that mean she try to hint me that to date her out for lunch ?
after that, was try to ask her to join me for lunch on friday since we are different department, but she told me that she will join other department for lunch, and was try to joke with me that need to book her early if want to lunch tgt. haha..
There after, she just told me will be next time if have chance to have lunch tgt. During that day, was get the chance to bought her a cup of coffee which i really didnt expected she will like the one that i choose. At first, she would like to paid me back, but i quickly act like a gentleman to treat her the drink, she look like so shy. I was about quickly tell her why not next time lunch, your treat back to me for a cup of coffee, it will be fair and enough.
OUr conversation was just very simply, and the way she reply was like very cold. I have one friend told me that because i just know her for like about 3 weeks only, dont expected ppl will come and find u. does this correct?
Afterthat, i had try to ask her out for lunch again, but she told me she cant confirm with me on that day because she kind of on and off. May be she need to go out and meet customer or wat. so i wait till during that day, i msg her and ask her again, and she just reply me that" I have things to do." does that mean i really no chance to know her more?

one more last question: She's older than me about 5 years, and i hear girl will be mind if the guy are younger than her.?

Hi guys,

I had like the girl for more than 4 years, and guess what, i been bringing her to various cafe hop, and last few day are my first time and date her to fine dining restaurant after i start my career. not to mention, she very less go cheap restaurant eat with me, because she complain very hot. that day, its was my first saw her heavy make up and wear quite nice of outfit, i try to praise her, and she gave me a lol answer. " I wear like this consider and casual like normally i wear went out with my friend" . is that consider insult me for praising her that she wear v nice outfit because everytime when i out with her. she wear like very normal only not as pretty as the day we went to fine dining restaurant. Is really fine restaurant will only can attract the girl to get notice on you? or this girl are too high to be together with?

Hi guys,

Im being friendzone with one of the girl that i like for almost 3 years. We started to talk with each other for quite a long time. We always hang out together for some moment till she broke up and found a new friendship during her college life. When i out with her, she only focus on her phone. Our friendship become even lesser. I admit that i like her so much till i couldnt let go the feeling. Till one day i decide to promise her wanted to buy her some branded stuff. A branded stuff that really cost a lot. It's equal to my 1 year annual income.. it's actually i wanted to try to impress her. but i knew she will only stay a friendzone status with me only.
And i only can afford to buy a imitation stuff for her only. Although it's not cheap but the price still like almost cut my throat off.
At first, i was though she know i really cant afford to bough her the original stuff. Till lately, she know its a imitation and she feel angry. As she say its better not to buy a imitation stuff for her. previously, when i go travel, i only remember to buy her the stuff she want

Than our conversation become even worst, now she wont even take initiative to come and find me anymore. i Feel so lost, and wanted to repair it. And i was plan to work for 2 part time job just to repair this friendships. i Cant even know what she really think now. Till i take some initiative and ask her, and she say "to be honest, your word i wont believe anymore, and friend wont want mean to be broke promise". she taking my word as a joke and couldnt want to forgive. Her mouth say just forget it, but i know her heart actually kind of feel disappointment as friend.

so my question is: should i just let go this girl feeling??? or i just go and repair this friendships????

i know it's my wrong to made an empty promise, and i realise the stuff she like are way too far that i can afford.. and i feel regret. i had tell her my reason but she just say empty promise is a empty promise.

hi~~ recently i think still cant let it go the feeling toward one of my friends. been confess to her face to face but she reject me and we still friend and talk with each other. But things getting worst now, as sometime she got find me for random chat. During some of our random chat, she got share with me one of her fav shoes she like, and that time her birthday was coming soon though. And somehow i have some extra part time job, i decide to buy her the shoes for give her the surprise. She got share with me that her best friend treat her quite nice. Willing to be more than just a friend. Recently, she getting closer with one of my friend. And somehow, the chance we chat with each other are getting lesser and lesser anymore, as because when each time i wan to talk with her, my friend will approach her first, and i feel like being neglected somehow. And i start feel that she not like last time will chat with me even i didnt find her as she know im busy with my hard earn time money.

Is that may because i become more isolated in front of her?or because i start to become jealous of my friend keep asking her out??

Hi guys..

As topic , I often hear a lot people telling exspexially from the girl that mostly their relations are start from they know the guy from club . Is that true ?

I'm 26 years old now and Parents had start to bag for getting a gf soon, but just been to clubs like 5 years ago . Hahah ... So wondering is that at night club do we really have chance to hock up a girl ? Or as we know if we can hock up a girl if our pocket is full of cash and table are full with champagne?
