Unable to connect to unsecured wireless network

Hi,

First of all, I would like to thank you for spending some time reading this post.

Let's start with my computer specifications:

1. I am using Compaq Presario CQ41.
2. OS is Windows 7.
3. Network adapter is "Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g WiFi Adapter"

Here is the situation:

1. I was previously able to connect to the Internet via wireless router at home.
2. Also able to connect to the Internet via Celcom Broadband.
3. Able to attempt connection to WPA2-PSK security (just that I don't know the password)
4. Able to attempt connection to WEP security. (Don't have password)
5. Unable to connect to unsecured security. Managed to get through only one time then after that, unable to connect anymore.

I am sorry I am not computer expert, so please explain in lay-man terms.

I just wanna ask which Maybank Credit Card should I get?

I just start working 3 months.
Salary almost Rm2k per month.
When I surf Maybank site, there are more than one type of credit card.

Can I just apply any of these to buy the Dell lap top online?

How long will it takes until I can use the credit card to make purchase started from the day I apply?

Any one with experience regarding this?

Celcom Broadband - Fast download but slow surf!?

ISP/package: celcom
Location: miri, sarawak.
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: nope

Personal equipment
Modem: huawei. (usb modem)
Router:
Firewall used: no idea

I am wondering. When I use this internet service to surf, the speed can only be around 10kbps. But when I download from rapidshare using idm, it can reach 50kbps? Why is that happening? I suppose that when download can reach 50kbps, surfing should also be the same.
Can someone tell me?

Saving? Is that the first thing we should know?

Express but Nice Video Editing

Hi there,

Actually I have a project that need to be done before this Sunday (Now ad Friday).

I would like to edit videos for my GF's birthday.

I already downloaded videos and songs from youtube and trusted source.

I want to combine video that I took from the v-cam with these other video and songs.

I want to mix them up following sequences that I already planed.

Example:

(1) I talk2 (while some songs are playing at the background)
(2) then, Some videos that I picked from youtube.
(3) then, I talk2 again to express my feelings. (with some songs playing at the background)
(4) etc etc

That is one example.. How is it?

Is it hard to do?

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SOFTWARE IS SUITABLE FOR DOING THIS PROJECT.
I NEED SOME TIPS TO MAKE MATTERS FLOW BETTER.

Hi there,

I dedicate this thread for all the newbies that were thinking of starting to blog but confused which one
to start. After they start, they were not sure which one to do first. Then what's next? Next? This
happens to me before this and I tried to search informations from all over the net. For all other
bloggers out there, please help me to explain in this thread based on your own experiences.

As we know, newbies couldn't understands the short forms. So when using them, please explain what
does it stands for.

As for me, I am also quite new in this arena, so I know what are you going through during the first
time of your journey into this world. In this thread I will explain STEP - BY - STEP what I do to blog.
(Senior please correct which part I do wrong).

I will keep on editing this single post and fit in all the STEPS based on my experiences and knowledge.
So if anyone wants to post their step-by-step guide, please put it in one post so the newbies can
easily read the instruction. If you cannot put all the steps at one time. You can EDIT the post later and
add more informations.

Ok enough about that. Let us start. Well I am using blogger as the platform for me to blog. So you can
see now that I don't need to pay anything for blogging. I am still not sure that this way or paid hosting
for blogging is better..

Why I cannot check the reply being made to me?
I started thread in Health & Fitness: "All you need is a complete MRT map!"
And whenever I got email notification and click the link, I will get this:

"Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
The error returned was:

Please tell me how to repair this?

I would like to change the view mode.
Now my view mode is from the first post
to the last post.

I found it quite troublesome.
How can I change the view type
from the latest to the first post?

Where do I need to go?
