PC wont stay power on

Hi guys,

My PC turns off on its own on odd times and frequency. 2 weeks ago I start to notice my pc will turn off on its own and reboot again.

I did the PSU test black and green wire to see if the fan spins and it did. The PSU light is always on as well but Im not sure if thats any issue. Im not sure where the problem is because at times I could use the pc for an hour before it shuts down and sometimes it cant be turn on at all to switching on and off on its own every minute

Any experts know whats the problem?

Intel Core i7 4770K (Haswell) 3.5 GHz Quad Core
Dual channel memory architecture
Four 240-pin DDR3 DIMM sockets

Zotac GTX 1050 TI

Question: Would the RAM auto overclock to 1866MHz1 be wastefull since max support for motherboard is 1600mhz? Do I need 2 of it due to the Dual channel architecture?

Imac vs Mac Mini

Hi guys ,

This will be my first Mac intended for majorly iOS development and content creation. I have a budget of 5K and could either get ;

1) Imac 21.5 with 8GB Upgrade

or

2) Mac Mini with Lion Server + (256 SSD & 750 GB & Trackpad)

I am close to a conclusion and would like to have some opinions/advise on which processor is better ?

a)2.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 with 6MB on-chip shared L3 cache

or

b)2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with 6MB on-chip shared L3 cache

PC Unable to Start

Hi there, please help me as im in a situation where my PC could not load to OS.

I was using my pc and all of a sudden it went into something like sleep/standby mode. I tried to wake the pc by moving the mouse, pressing random keys but it doesnt seem to wake from its sleep/standby mode. So I restart my pc but its still the same kind of "mode"

I tried to identify which hardware is causing this by removing the ram and the graphic card in turn but theres no beeping sound and still it does not seem to load to vista. There isnt any bios screen at all when I startup my pc.

The led on the power supply is blinking (normally it does not) , the motherboard light is stable with graphic card and cpu fan working. The temp seems fine, there is no overheating and also there is no burning smell.

I have remove the minimal dust inside with a portable vaccuum cleaner and was able to use the pc for about 8 hours before the same problem arise. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Im certain its a hardware fault but I do not have any spare graphic card or ram or power supply to test.

The pc im using is a Dell XPS 430 and been using for 2+ years, warranty and support has expired. The Power on button is yellow now and when it was working its in blue.

Please help me advise which hardware most likely causing this and many thanks in advance
