The time is now, to raise our expectations and exceed your limitations.

You are hereby cordially invited to ‘CTA’ (Competitive Track Autoshow), a time attack cum autoshow event that will surely entice and bring out the grease monkey in you!

Visitors Entree Fee:
ENTREE FEE (per head) – RM 30 (track & autoshow passes)
ENTREE FEE (per car) – VIP parking RM50 (Limited to 50 spaces)
ENTREE FEE (per car) – Normal parking RM5

There will be few on-going competitions as listed below:

CTA Full Track Attack – TIME ATTACK TRACK CHALLENGE!
(RM400 per entry + RM100 transponder deposit)

Track Attack Mechanics:
Line-up: Pit Exit. Each car will be released every 10-15 seconds.

1st Heat – 1 warm up lap, 4 hot Laps, 1 cool down lap.

2nd Heat – 1 warm up lap, 4 hot Laps, 1 cool down lap.

Best lap times will be taken off the hot laps.

Categories:
1. Supercars (Horses, Bulls, Frogs, etc.)
2. Track Class (Pure race machines)
3. VTEC Type-Road (Road legal cars (VTEC), full interior, nothing stripped out with road tires only)
4. VTEC Type-Race (Open VTEC category, roll-cages, back seat removals are allowed, semi-slick tires only)
5. N/A FF (Engine displacement limit 2,000cc and below)
6. Turbo 4WD
7. FF Turbo Open (Turbocharged engines, FF cars only)
8. FR Open (Turbocharged or naturally aspirated engines, FR cars only)
9. Euro Cup (VW, Renault, Audi, etc.)

*Cars with welded on roll-cages will automatically be transferred to Track Class
*Road tires & semi-slick tires are allowed for all classes unless stated otherwise.
*Categories are subject to change under the discretion of the CTA committee. All decisions made by the committee are final.

Prizes for Time Attack Track Challenge (per category):
1st – RM 1000 (cash) + Trophy + Goodies
2nd – RM 500 (cash) + Trophy + Goodies
3rd – RM 300 (cash) + Trophy + Goodies

iii) Best Car Club: RM 25 / car + 1pc of Event’s ticket, minimum 20 cars

CTA Model Search!

Phase 1
Interested candidates are required to submit their details (Name, DOB, E-mail Address, Contact Number and FB profile link) with pictures to event@autopreview.com.my, once compiled, the management will upload the shortlisted 20 candidates to www.facebook.com/CTAMalaysia for public viewing.

Phase 2
Shortlisted top 20 are required to attend the actual event.
Pre-event briefing session: Selected candidates will be notified of the date, time and location accordingly.
During the event, candidates will get the chance to show off their modeling skills and are required to harness the ‘Wow!’ factor among the audiences.

‘CTA Model of the Day’ results are based on online votes via www.facebook.com/CTAMalaysia (23rd Jan 2012 till 6th Feb 2012).

Highest voted candidate will receive RM1000 (Cash) + Cert.

*Prize giving ceremony will be held at V1 Concept Restaurant & Bar on the 9th of Feb 2012, 8:30 pm.

CTA Picture of the Day!

2 Categories:
1. Best Track Photography
2. Best Autoshow Photography

There are no specific requirements or subjects for each picture, so, go crazy!

Mechanics:
1. Show off your photography skills on the event day
2. E-mail your photo to event@v1.com.my. Submissions must be before 20th Jan 2012.
3. Please include: Name, E-mail Address, Contact Number and FB profile link.
4. Voting period is between 23rd Jan 2012 till 6th Feb 2012 via www.facebook.com/CTAMalaysia
5. Highest voted picture for each categories will receive:

1st – RM300 (Cash) + Cert
2nd – RM200 (Cash) + Cert
3rd - RM100 (Cash) + Cert

*Each photographer is only allowed to submit 1 picture per category.

CTA Blogger of the Day!
To celebrate the rise of ‘bloggers’, a blog write-up competition will be held.

Phase 1
To join this competition, bloggers are required to submit a write up based on the following statement;

‘Give your take on the automotive scene in Malaysia.’

Phase 2
Selected bloggers will receive a notification and are required to attend the actual event (CTA tickets x 2 will be given). Following which, are required to submit a final post-event write up regarding the event itself (CTA) before the winning blogger will be chosen.

The winning blogger will receive RM300 (Cash) + Cert.

*All participating bloggers are required to post both write ups on their own blog and share a link to it via www.facebook.com/CTAMalaysia.
*Prize giving ceremony will be held at V1 Concept Restaurant & Bar on the 9th of Feb 2012, 8:30 pm.
