Lost iPhone 7 Jet Black

My son lost his iPhone 7 jet black while buying iced tea at Tealive in Uptown 9 July 2017. He placed it on the counter while collecting his drink. He forgot and went into his car with the drink but without his phone. When he realized 10 minutes later and called back, it was gone. Nobody in the shop saw it.

We have asked the telco to block the phone. I believe one will have to jailbreak to use it now.

Didn't record the phone's serial number.

iMac

My iMac which is running on Mac OS X 10.6.8 recently suddenly suffers from very slow booting up and also when shutting down. It now takes about 5-6 minutes in the blue screen before it boots up. Same when shutting down.

Is there anything I can do ?

Is there any recommended iMac repair shop in the Klang Valley ?

My 3-year old iMac suddenly starts to take like 7 minutes to boot up and 5 minutes to close down.

After it has booted, it runs at normal speed.

I have checked and repaired permissions and also checked and verified disks but it is still the same.

Is there anything I can do ? If I should send it to a technician, where can I find one in the Klang valley ?

Anyone Can Repair Dry Cabinet ?

I have a 4-door dry cabinet which I use to keep my photography gears. It has 2 seperate compartment, each dried by a seperate motor (dehumidifier ?) . One of the motor unit has broken down. Is anyone able to replace a new motor unit ?

If so, can I know how to contact that person.

3G iPhone syncs with Outlook 2003 Problems

My 3G iPhone can sync with Outlook 2003 using iTunes. However, my appointment dates on Outlook 2003 are wrongly placed on iPhone's Calendar. For e.g. my appointments for 13th October appears on 12th October of the iPhone and all other dates are placed a day earlier on the iPhone.

I wonder what's wrong. Have I missed any important setting on Outlook or on the iPhone ?

"No Sim Card Installed" - iPhone 3G Problem

I bought a 10-day old unlocked 3G iPhone from a member here. He didn't tell me that the phone has a problem. Very often the phone gives the message "No Sim Card Installed" eventhough the sim card is inside. I have tried resetting the phone and also cleaning the sim card before installing it again. The problem is still there. It is frustrating because the card disables itself thinking that there is no sim card and I got missed calls without even knowing.

Also, in the middle of conversations, the phone gets disconnected often. Before the seller sold me the phone I talked to him on a few occasion on the phone and his line was cut off very often. He told me the battery was weak.

Can anyone help me ?
