How to deal with the mental 'letting go'

I'm trying to mentally 'let go' of a debt someone owes me. This isn't a loan to someone I know, just unfortunate that I got into this with a business and business owner isn't able to pay me for the supplies.

After constant messaging and eventually being ignored, I've decided to let it go rather than getting worked up chasing the debt. Fortunately, the amount is low (just a few hundred RM which I can make back in 2-3 days).

But .... it's not easy to let go. It's been a few months and I still occasionally think about it and when this happens it kinda distracts me from what I'm doing. If you've been in the position of 'creditor' to a bad debtor, how do you deal with your state of mind and emotions to refocus on more important things in your life?

Milk Alternatives

I'm trying to reduce my dairy intake but I find I can't do without it in my morning coffee as I like the added creaminess.

Anyone taking dairy milk alternatives for coffee? If yes, what do you use? And if they're easily available at Aeon or Coldstorage (the two grocers near my place)

Just wondering who these makciks selling keropok outside banks are. Usually I see them sit from late evening till midnight. I've bought from them a couple of times.

Then, last week I saw the makcik get down from a run-down looking small van filled with big packs of keropok at the back area. Are these makciks from some association or something? They seem to be everywhere around Klang Valley. I even saw once in Ipoh, also in front of bank.

A few years ago, there used to be a lady from a single mums welfare home selling cupcakes outside of the CIMB in USJ Taipan. Now they're no longer there and the spot has been taken by a makcik selling keropok instead.

So are these makciks from the single mums welfare? Or are they a syndicate?

Weird Business Practice by PK Time @ Sunway

I brought my watch to PK Time @ Sunway Pyramid to have its battery changed. Since I purchased from them, hence I took it back there.

As I'd forgotten to bring out my warranty card, the salesperson(?) told me that there would be a service charge which totals to RM26.50. I agreed because I didn't want the hassle of searching for the card and making another trip.

When I asked for a receipt, he told me that I would be charged for it. Because of this (not getting a receipt and being told I would have to pay for it) it just made me feel uncomfortable and weird. Even though some time has past, I still have an uncomfortable feeling about my visit to PK Time.

Maybe it's my subconscious prompting me bout not being 'smart'? I don't know. Just need to 'luahkan' out here

Anyone tried to backup wechat messages to pc recently? I need help and advice.

What I've tried:

1. There is a guide on the wechat app for backup and restore chat by computer - but it's in Chinese and I can't read it
2. The guides I found online doesn't work because they're mostly for older versions.
3. My wechat for pc cannot detect when my tab is connected to pc via usb cable.

Non-Malay going out with a Malay

As per topic subject, what's the proper behaviour/etiquette when out in public with some of the opposite gender who is Malay?

This is just a normal outing and non romantic.

I'm asking as according to my friend who's Malay, there should be no physical contact between us. Especially when it's just two of us walking in public as that alone already seems to draw a lot of attention towards both of us. I sometimes hug friends (even close guy friends) when we part ways and he said that this won't be appropriate as others will think there's more to the hug.

Posting this question here to get more info on general behaviour in public.

Engine turns off while slowing

Hi. Any car experts can advice or recommend a workshop who would understand this problem?

Issue: Every time I start drive, the engine would turn off on its own when I slow down either at a road hump, traffic lights or to make a turn.
This only happens the first 5-8 minutes when engine is cold. After that, it's back to normal.
This also only happens if I don't leave the car running to warm up the engine for 10 minutes before moving. But on rare occasions, it will still act up.

Has anyone encountered this and managed to solve the problem?

This has been going on almost daily (every time I drive out) since earlier this year.
I've brought it to Perodua twice. They've changed the oil filter but no difference.
They even observed me test drive the car twice but no problems while driving. I assume because when they were inspecting, the engine was left running so it was warmed up enough by the time I test drove.
