Can this rig run Battlefield 3 in ultra with a good fps?

Is this a good realiable gaming rig?

If i get water cooling, does that mean I don't need any fan anymore?

Is water cooling better or cooling fan?

Does water cooling require troublesome maintainence or is it maintainence free?

I'm aiming for a high-end rig.
And is planning to get another 570 for SLI when budget allows.

Wiring (Streamyx) [SOLVED]

I'm not sure whether this is the correct section to ask or not.
Yesterday my mom's worker did some wiring for my mom in order to connect the line to her fax machine on the 2nd floor.
Since years I used a very long telephone line and pull it all the way up to my room (2nd floor) around 50m long I guess.
FYI, I'm subscribing 4mbps line for streamyx. I don't get any trouble (maximum download speed)
But since ytd, after the guy did the wiring, the maximum speed went from 450-500kbps to 70-150kbps.
My question is, will the wiring affect my internet speed? Because right after he did it my speed significantly dropped

vs
Leadtek GTX580 1.5GB DDR5
But which one is better?

and which brand is better? ASUS? MSI? GIGABYTE?
or others? Please give me some idea; )

which resolution is 1680 x 1050
My budget is around 1.5k-1.8k for GC

All I need is the CPU.

Notes:
Please include a water cooling system as I will be overclocking it.
12gb ram.
i7 processor ( not an amd fan)
1TB HDD
Radeon / Geforce ? or anything else? preferbaly 2gb, hope I'm not too greedy..( scared over budget )
And lastly a decent casing that can fit all these babies perfectly. Don't want cheap ass one, good air-flow and can fit the water cooling and everything..need good looking one too

Please sifus, list out the best I can get for 6k to build this rig..
Mainly for gaming and designing as I'm a designer myself..
Using 3DS Max / Autocad /Adobe Photoshop

I hope everything can be done in 6k as i'm not getting a new monitor and accesories.
If my requirement is too high you guys can try to lower it for me if it happen to over the budget.

1.) What motherboard should I get to fit all these thing fit in properly without any compability problem.
2.) How many watts for Power Supply should I get? / Brand also ; )
3.) A DVD drive w/double layer write capability.
4.) Here is one noob question, Let's say if I go for water cooling. Do I still need fan ? / And If I install the water cooling system, how long should I maintance it ( change water etc..) ? Or no need ?
5.) An informative casing, with temperature etc.. and better for heat to escape.
6.) Do I really need sound card? Is there any significant difference?

Lastly, IF any of the sifus thinks the list I suggested above is wrong / Not that good or whatsoever please do let me know and if you can state out a better alternative, it would be better.

4MBPS line keeps getting indon IP add's

Greetings, I had just changed my line from 1.0mbps which is very stable and i can normally get 180KBps-240KBps download speed.
And because my mom office line had relocated to my house and bla bla bla
so this is the thing, I had a chance to re-apply streamyx so I give 4mbps a try and the result is acceptable.
Web surfing is fast, facebook video is fast as well as i get the speed 450KB/ps while downloading the video.
But for youtube, it's beyond slow, even my sister's P1 can load faster than it, is it youtube or Streamyx or the 4mbps problem.
And I was thinking could it be the IP i got from streamyx, i checked on it and it's from Indon and no matter how many time i reboot my modem it's still get the same 115.xxx.xxx.xxx IPs.
Need some help on this or is this normal, and is there anyway i can fix this youtube problem,
yesterday midnight while i was surfing and i give a try to youtube again and it was fast again, but only for starting of the video, it loads with the speed of 450KBps as well but until half it slows down to 30-40KBs again. And i really hate this.
I know the speed is because i had install CFosSpeed to shape my traffic and to monitor my computer network usage. So i can know what's the speed and whether my internet is working.
Need some comments on this one, hope all the sifus here can help me out and thanks.

BUTTERWORTH: Apart from reducing the price of fuel when Pakatan Rakyat comes to power, PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said all the mega projects would also be reviewed and if necessary, scrapped.

He said the projects identified were the RM15.2bil high-speed broadband services project, double tracking and the undersea cable.

He however said projects that benefit the people would be retained.

That's some hell ya bad news, i hope he knows that broadband is superb benefits for the people.

KUALA LUMPUR: Telcos were fined RM50mil last year for short-changing consumers and the Government will withdraw their licences if they fail to deliver services as promised.

Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said the licensees were fined for, among others, not providing even 50% of the reception or speed as promised to consumers, failing to adhere to the business plan promised to the Government, quality of service which was below the set standards, breaching contracts and not having adequate base stations and towers to fulfil service requirements.

“If they have promised in their business plan to provide a speed of 1Mbps, they should at least provide 70% (700Kbps) 90% of the time.

“I am waiting to take back the licences and give them to other companies that are serious about serving consumers if telcos and digital service providers fail to perform as agreed in the terms and the conditions with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM),” Shaziman said after launching Packet 1’s (P1) WiMAX services yesterday.

He added that “the best efforts as currently adopted by broadband players now are unacceptable.”

Rolling out, he said, was more than just building a tower, launching new services or setting up WiFi spots.

“The Government is serious in ensuring that broadband Internet access benefits the rakyat, especially in semi-urban and rural areas.”

Shaziman reiterated that failure to comply would be subjected to penalty, possibly in the form of withdrawal of the respective performance guarantee bonds of up to RM7.7mil pledged with SKMM.

“Since WiMAX is a new technology which requires quite a substantial investment, it would be prudent for industry players to share infrastructure to minimise financial burdens and wastage in duplication of investments,” he said.

Commenting on the minister’s call to improve services, P1 chief executive officer Michael Lai said that his company, as the first to roll out WiMAX in the country, was committed to providing at least 70% of the requirement on speed.

“We will also implement our projects according to the business plan and develop our services in clusters to meet with our deadlines.”

P1's WiMAX service offers speeds of 400Kbps, 700Kbps, 1.2Mbps and 2.4Mbps at monthly rates ranging from RM59 to RM239 for personal and RM69 to RM339 for business plans.

During the promotional period between Aug 20 and Sept 30, P1 is giving away a free modem worth RM999. The upfront registration fee is RM100, with activation fee of RM50 and installation fee of RM80.

P1's WiMAX broadband is now available immediately in the KLCC and Golden Triangle areas, Pekeliling, Setapak, Gombak, Seri Rampai, Sentul, Pudu, selected areas in Subang Jaya, USJ1, USJ7 and the Subang Hi-Tech area.

Having random lags when in Windows mode

computer always having random lags when playing games in windows mode such as cabal online, the sims2

here's my spec:
Quad core Q6600 oced 3.7ghz
ATI Radeon HD3870 DDR3 512mb
4gb Kingston Ram
250gb sata HDD
Windows XP Home SP3

I'm playing everygame like Crysis and CoD4 smoothly in full screen but whenever i change it to windows mode it lags, very badly.
Any solution to get rid of this?

Please help me -.- !!

FYI:
i have windows blind on, rainmeter, rainlender, objectdock plus etc. turned on
but i tried turning them off and it doesn't stop the lags.

Hi, need help on overclocking Q6600

Hi, i'm still new to overclocking.
FYI, i just started to learn overclocking today and i successfully made it to 3ghz as the picture below shows.
But what i saw in this forum, is way too better than mine, they can get even 4ghz, i know there's something to do with the ratio for dram and fsb.
but my fsb jsut can't go any higher. FYI, i'm currently using ASUS p5k se/epu and what i use to overclock is a software from the mobo called AI Suite, it contains a feature called AI Booster to set the settings i want and i can make it to 3ghz but not any higher.
So can someone teach me how can i get my FSB or Dram frequency higher so that i can get a higher core speed for my Q6600?
or i'm totally messed up the point -.- ( means what i said is not correct at all ) if it is , please correct me. If you can teach me how to do it in BIOS for the settings for DRAM or FSB will be great =) . So all the sifus out there, please help me out thanks. Or someone can give me a simple tutorial website for overclocking will do so, but the best is teaching me here, cause i search google for few days but still can't get it clear -.-

and my temp is only around 26'c is it counted as low and telling me that i can go higher overclocking?
