poll:every year renew roadtax must go puspakom

hello guys, here are news about vehicle in malaysia. the goverment want to make competitive car market in malaysia, so the car that 15 years old and above have to go puspakom for roadtax renewal, and other car, every years must go puspakom for road tax renewal.. this are the statement.

MITI’s Secretary General, Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat reiterated that “the effective date for the implementation of the mandatory annual inspection is not on 1 January 2010 as reported in some media. The Government will announce the effective date of the mandatory annual inspection once the roadmap for the implementation of ELV(end of life for vehicle) is completed”. He added that “the main objective for the introduction of the mandatory annual inspection is to ensure that vehicles are safe and road-worthy”.[/I][/I]

The gradual phase-out of imported used parts and components will be effective in June 2011. This measure is only applicable for imported used parts and components. It is in line with the long term objective of the Government to prohibit the importation of used automotive products which are sub-standard and unsafe.

the second paragraph meaning that there are no more spare part from japan, other words....half cut (kedai potong).. no more second hand gbox, sec-hnd drive shaft, alternator, a/c compressor, and no more evo half cut.... just wanna share with you guys, last raya, my car auto gbox was kong, then i pusing all kl and selangor area for the best price, so this are the average price.... for recon, rm900, for sec-hand japan rm1000, but if no more sec-hand, you have to buy new gbox, and you know what.... i ask proton in glenmarie for a new auto gbox wira 1.8, the price is......rm 3500 to rm4000....

are this is good or what?

timing belt broke

Helo all sifu, my car timing belt broke last saturday, i just need all the sifu out there who have this experiencce,...can you tell me what to change, what dun need to change, after the top overhauld, what were the problem coming from that timing belt broke... thanks all..

yesterday i drove to kl, then went back home, suddently, my radio die, try start but cant, then my meter lamp dim, and my head lamp dim, then engine die, after 5 minit try start then can, almost at home after 10 minit drive, the things came again then engine die again.. pls..guys, anyone have this experience, give me some advice....is it altenator?, or other thing? thnks..

Can anyone give an opinion which of these minivan that are worthbuying..As i want to buy minivan around this price tag... all 7 seater.. if anyone have any experience driving these minivan, pls share it, about the comfort (seat and absorber), a/c to the last row, good FC, maintenance, interior, engine power for 7 people..or maybe you have others minivan that more better than these....pls..share with us... i need to know...thank a lot..
