HP DV3-4055TX reviews?

Was searching for a new 13in notebook and found the HP DV3-4055TX at a reasonable RM2999.

Here's the specs:

DV3 - 4055TX - 13”
Win 7 HP
2.4GHZ Intel Core i5 520M
2GB DDR3 1066 MHz Memory
320GB 5400-rpm hard drive
ATI Radeon HD 5450 - 1GB discrete
(Battery life: Unknown?)

Tested the notebook at HP Store... and noticed that despite the decent specs (and the fact that it was a clean install), it was surprisingly laggy. Some lag noticed when scrolling web pages (it was a bit choppy) and when I right-clicked on the desktop, the "loading circle" actually appeared for 1-2 secs before the preferences loaded!
I'm not sure if its a Windows OS problem, or is it because the 2GB RAM is not enough, or this particular unit at HP Store is crappy, or some other issue...

Any owners of this unit would like to say something? Or anyone have any reviews or comments about this unit? Your thoughts are most welcomed!

Thank you!

WCG 2006 Malaysia Finals in The Star newspaper

There's a 3-page article on the World Cyber Games 2006 Malaysia finals which appeared as The Star newspaper's In.Tech cover story on September 5.

Since this is the forum section for gaming competitions, leagues and clans, there might be some gamers mentioned in the article that you might recognise or are your friends (or you might even find yourself in there).

Some names mentioned:
- W|nDs clan members (FIFA) Nigel Goh, Tay Hun Lun, Rinie and Hoe Sheng
- clans Team Hybrid (hix, syck, fions, sniggy, syntax), FMJ (Albert Lim), MAS1 and MyFES
- Paul Yan, Tan Soon Hua (M1-Cobo), Sophian Shahirul (FoRza) and Foo Ming Keet

I know it's a bit late, but I've been too busy to hunt for the PDFs and upload it. If you see your friend in there, please let them know they're in the newspaper if they don't already.

Anyway, here's the link to download the PDFs (packed in one zip file): http://tinyurl.com/npz9s

(Btw, I'm using the tinyurl.com service because the original link is too long. When you click on the link, you should get a ZIP file titled "wcg06malaysia_cover.zip")

Enjoy!
