just received it this afternoon.. in the process of burning in now.

so far, wow, very detailed amplifier, lush midrange and abundant bass with punch! well worth the US$250.

when i get the time i will be comparing this with the Little Dot 2 and Ray Samuel's Hornet.

actually i have 2 headfives with me now.. first one i thought was lost in the mail since it was over 5 weeks since delivery date and i still hadnt received it. so Dr Jan kindly sent me a replacement unit for free last Monday, and this afternoon, both turned up on my doorstep at the same time.. will either be sending the replacement amp back to him, or will pass it to someone in Singapore who wants it and get the buyer to bank in money to Dr Jan directly.

just found out this is available locally in Singapore.. costs S$800 though.. just received my bonus and am trying really hard to resist the temptation.

quite a few people on head-fi have this and have pretty much only good things to say. so, since you guys have tasted the zhaolu, anyone getting the upgraditis bug again?

i have been given the go ahead to post up this info here.

please be cautious of this member. he sells laptops and cons people by taking money, asking them to wait whilst he gets the laptop and then runs off with the money.

this information was found in a laptop sold by a member of LYN with the nick BiuBiu (previously known as PowerEdge), and the buyer passed on the information to me. whether the information here is accurate/up to date/real/fake, i dont know, but i hope it helps.

also attached are pictures of himself found in the laptop.

let this post serve as warning and caution the next time you do a COD with someone you dont know.
