Yanwo are the nests of some swiftlet species from the Collocaliini tribe within the swift family Apodiadae, such as Collocalia thunbergi, C. inexpeetata Hume, C. unicolor Jordon, C. linchi affinis Bearan, etc. These birds eat small fishes or seaweed and make nests with their gummy saliva high up on cave walls.

Producing Area
Fujian, Guangdong, Nanhai, South China Sea Islands, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Japan etc.

Sweet, Mild in Nature

Action

* Nourishes yin and moistens dryness, benefits qi and nourishes spleen
* For weakness, cough and hemoptysis due to asthenia of viscera, asthma of the aged due to phlegm, it is used with rock sugar.
* For hiccups due to adverse qi and gastric disorder, it can be used alone.
* For vomiting, diarrhoea and breaking down of stomach-qi, it is used with ginseng
* For excessive tiredness, insomnia and forgetfulness, it is used with ginseng and old rice.
* For malarial disease of the aged and the young, it is used with rock sugar.

Usage and Dosage
5 - 9 g is cooked in a steaming pot or wrapped in silk cloth and stewed, or used as paste.

Note
Contraindicated for the person with asthenic coldness of the spleen and stomach, obstruction of phlegm-dampness and syndrome with pathogenic factors.

Great for those under a lot of stress that affects their lungs, digestion and constipation.

Those that have addictive behaviour such as smoking, drugs, sex, alcohol and even thinking. Thinking / worrying is addictive.

BN is considered as an emperor drug. When right for a condition it is very efficacious. If the condition is absent you can drink bucketfuls of it and no harm will occur.

Fixed line Broadband distance expansion

I have just bought a farm and moved in recently. Went to transfer my streamyx account to my new phoneline but was informed that I am unable to do so as the nearest port available is 8Km away.

I did a search to perhaps find a device that can plug into my phone line and would be able to extend the distance but I have found one from australia that can extend the fixed line bb range to 20 Km.

Does anyone know if TMNET has any plan to extend the reach of their fixed-line BB ? The solution seem very cheap.

I am using Celcom BB and it sucks ..... kept getting lookup failure and drop-line is also quite frequent.

Can forget about Rapidshare download and voip.

Anyone has other alternatives ?

Join Venture - Swiftlet Home

I have a one acre farm located in Kuantan. It is 14 km Sungai Lembing Road. The place is called Kampung Sawar. It is about 2 Km from the PLUS highway turn-off.

I am looking for a join venture partner in building a swiftlet home on the farm. The farm has a single story house. It has water, electricity and phone.

A got a quotation from a swiftlet home developer here. He can build a swiftlet home at a cost of RM35 per square foot.

A 25 x 80 , double storey swiftlet home comes to 4000 x 35 = RM 140,000. If you add the other items in I think the total will come to RM 160,000 to RM 170,000. Buying a leasehold factory will set you back RM240,000 without the accessories. This proposition is very attractive.

Another quote I got was the used of light-weight concrete. The person claimed that he had built 2 bird-houses of 20 x 70 , double storey for RM38,000 each.

Birdhouse can be built a lot cheaper using new building technologies. Please call to discuss possibilities.
