Apple Care Question

nuazfx — Tue, 17 Jun 2008 23:47:57 +0800

when we bought our mac it come with apple care plan rit,and it only last for a year...unless we add more $ and extend the ACPP period...

do we have to continue buy ACPP every year?

the Question is~
e.g if i bought it on 2008...it will end on 2009 rit?
if.. 2009 i skip the ACPP,and continue back on ..ermm..let say 2 years later..on 2011..

did it start count on 2011 ?
or it start on the last ACPP date ?that mean 2009, (so i have to buy 3 years to continue)

thanks a lot!!

multiple fixed ip address in mac

nuazfx — Thu, 08 May 2008 01:37:18 +0800

guys, just got my peryn mbp couple of days ago.. luvitsomuch! ,just cant figure out how the network setting works..

1) how do i add multiple fixed ip address/network on mac,
let say..i hv local ip address [for local access only / no access to internet] and public ip [only for internet]....

both hv a different subnet mask, gateway is the same..

2) and how do the "set service order" setting under sys pref/network works anyway?
if i set the local ip 1st,i have all my friends shared pc/mac on my finder sidebar...and i cant connet to internet..
but when i set public ip 1st,all my friend shared pc/mac is gone...internet is gud..

i used lan cable, both light status is green,i can connect via smb(go/connect to server) with both setting above..

thanks alot guys~
