Hi Sifus,

I have an alpha water heater smart18i ~2years old, but when kaput today. The "auto test" indicators blink red.

Should I get a new one ? or call for repair? Earlier, arranged for a service because the reset button didn't work, but technician didn't even turn up on the agreed day.

What is the typical shelf life for instant water heater, before we need to change to a new one?

p/s this topic maybe is in the wrong section, @mod please advise me if it is not relevant under Home Entertainment.

I bought a samsung plasma tv 8 series, 3 months back. Suddenly mid last week, the TV just cannot switch on. no power. as a pre-troubleshooting i tried to change to a different power point and still no luck (while the rest of other devices are working nicely).

So i called their customer service..told my problem and they assigned me a report number. they mentioned a technician will call me for an appointment. Until today nobody is returning me a call despite my follow up Friday and today.

I am wondering how best i can sort this out. Appreciate if you guys can give me some ideas how to expedite the troubleshooting.
